As the grassroots season wraps up, student-athletes begin back-to-school shopping, preparing for the 2023-2024 school year. The Class of 2024, believe it or not, is approaching their Senior season, and I wanted to highlight some of the top uncommitted prospects position by position as we head into the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall. Below is a look at the Top-10 small forward prospects who remain uncommitted at this time, to the best of my knowledge.

1. [player_tooltip player_id='177314' first='Alexis' last='Castator'], 2024, 6-1 SF/SG, Fort Wayne Northrop H.S.
- Lexi is a tremendously fluid and smooth wing prospect at her height. She has great length, developing strength, and she is skillful. She can handle it a little in transition, attack the basket off the bounce as well, and she has nice touch from the perimeter. She is an offensive weapon who can take over games at times. She had several nice performances in the Spring, drawing a number of Division-I offers. I would like to see a little more urgency and consistency, though, especially at the defensive end, because she has the talent.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='176406' first='Aniyah' last='Bishop'], 2024, 5-10 SF, Lake Central H.S.
- Aniyah is a talented athlete, and she could contend with anyone in Indiana's 2024 class as being the best athlete in the class. Her strength, coupled with her ability to run and jump, stand out as soon as you watch her. She can make catches, snag rebounds above others, and finish at odd angles in transition in ways other girls just can't. Her jump-shot is more consistent than people think, because she doesn't shoot it a lot, though she doesn't force either. She is also an elite defender who plays with versatility at that end.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='177317' first='Destini' last='Craig'], 2024, 5-9 CF, Fort Wayne Northrop H.S.
- Destini was dominant during July of 2022, but after transferring to Northrop that Fall, she played a handful of games during the 2022-2023 season before being injured and missing all of 2023 to date. She is a strong, physical, aggressive combo forward with good all-around athleticism. She plays with an incredible motor and toughness, and she uses her immense strength to almost "bully" opponents around the basket. She has a little touch outside, but she's best in the mid-post. Here's hoping for a strong return this season!

4. [player_tooltip player_id='177359' first='Adrianne' last='Tolen'], 2024, 5-10 SF/PG, West Lafayette H.S.
- Adrianne is one of the most versatile kids in Indiana's 2024 class, and several of the elite small colleges are taking notice. She has a strong, athletic frame, some length, and she moves well in most directions. She can play on the ball and act as a point forward in transition, even initiating the offense in the half-court. She has improved her perimeter shooting, though she's still best as a North/South attacker. Defensively, she is quick-footed and can defend some point guards, bigger guards/wings, and most forwards.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='264111' first='Audrey' last='Annee'], 2024, 5-9 SF, Center Grove H.S.
- I've always enjoyed watching Audrey, because she seems like one of those kids who always outplays her "measurables". She plays with a great motor, she is fairly strong, and she will battle around the basket, plus she has a nose for the ball and rebounds everything. She's also a dangerous perimeter shooter who can get on blistering hot streaks. Off the bounce, she is more of a straight-line attacker, but she absorbs contact well, and she can finish around the basket. She also competes at the defensive end.

6. [player_tooltip player_id='177336' first='Scarlett' last='Kimbrell'], 2024, 5-11 SF, Franklin Community H.S.
- Though she hasn't played much grassroots basketball the last couple of Summers, Scarlett continues to compete for her high school team. She is a long, athletically built, fluid talent who can really shoot the basketball, and with deep range. She has always been a perimeter threat, and as she has gotten stronger, she's added a more aggressive game attacking the basket. I really like her upside as a college wing, but I've heard she is an elite volleyball prospect as well, and she could lean that direction in regard to college athletics.

7. [player_tooltip player_id='177310' first='Kennedy' last='Blakely'], 2024, 5-8 SF, Hammond Central H.S.
- This is the first Spring & Summer I don't recall seeing Kennedy playing grassroots basketball, and she even transferred from Bishop Noll to Hammond Central for the 2023-2024 school year. She is a well-rounded athlete with an athletic frame and some length. She is another one of those versatile wings who does a little of everything. She can shoot it a little, she can handle it and create like a point forward, and she can get to the basket and finish. She extends that versatility to the defensive end of the floor as well.

8. [player_tooltip player_id='177329' first='Keylee' last='Hudson'], 2024, 5-10 SF/SG, Eastern Greene H.S.
- This was my fourth Summer watching Keylee, and I felt like she looked as long, lean, and explosive as she ever has. She has always possessed good skill, whether that be on or off the ball. In the past, she has acted as a point forward, a shooting guard, as well as any number of other roles from the perimeter. She is strong enough to attack the basket and finish through contact, and she's doing so regularly now, plus she is playing with greater urgency, and it shows in her efforts on the boards and defensively.

9. [player_tooltip player_id='177337' first='Kaiden' last='Kreinhagen'], 2024, 5-8 SF, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis)
- Kaiden has turned herself into a very strong, almost powerful, wing prospect. She has typically played with a great motor and a quiet toughness, and she will play out of position/undersized roles a lot of the time. She battles on the boards, defends multiple positions, and just competes each possession at both ends. Offensively, she has solid ball skill and can push in transition, plus she has a little touch outside. But I think her best contributions offensively usually come from the mid-post, or by her attacking the basket.

10. [player_tooltip player_id='572796' first='Ciara' last='Sims'], 2024, 5-8 SF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S.
- I have spent a couple of additional articles already reflecting on Ciara's strong play from this Spring & Summer, so I will keep this simple...she has "turned the corner" in a big way and should not go overlooked by a number of colleges. She is long, wiry-strong, quick, fast, bouncy, and hard-working. She can be an elite defender, she rebounds her position well, and she is a nice attacker offensively. She is pretty steady in her play, doesn't turn it over, and she can make shots at all three levels, plus she can act as a vocal leader.
