Last Sunday, the [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] grassroots program centered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, hosted their annual college showcase. This has been a staple of the program for about the last 7 years or so, where they invite players in from their 17U teams down to 14U teams to participate in drills and open runs/scrimmages in front of many of the Midwest's small colleges. There were no fewer than 30 schools who showed up throughout the day's two sessions, and there were somewhere between 90 and 100 prospects on hand participating. This is the third of several articles highlighting a few of the ladies who stood out last weekend.

.

Agnes ended up being traded during her session because another team was down to just 4 girls due to health issues. She has really come on in the past 12 to 18 months, and she saw some quality minutes throughout Homestead's season in 2025-2026. She has nice length, speed & quickness, and she plays with a good motor. She has been a multilevel scorer for a couple of years now, but she's really starting to handle it more/better and create scores for herself & teammates. I've also always enjoyed her feistiness at the defensive end of the floor.

Khloe had a nice showing at this event, and she has progressed quite a bit since last Summer when I saw her. She is playing with more confidence, especially when it comes to shooting the ball, as she buried a number of 3-pointers, some with nice distance. She is long, wiry-strong, fluid, and somewhat smooth athletically. She can put it on the floor and glide to the basket, but her shooting really stood out at this event, as she allowed her teammates to draw attention while she found open space on the perimeter. She also looked more impactful defensively and on the boards.

Hillary is going to be one of those players who is talked about consistently all four years of high school. Why? She is a "big school" prospect in a "small school" setting, so during the Winter months she puts up tremendous numbers. At the same time, she is one of the top prospects in the class, so she is able to stand out in events like these when she's mixed with other talented individuals. She can handle and run offense, she can bury shot after shot, and she can create offense. She's also a heady, savvy defender who is willing to go rebound, but she also defends multiple positions.

Ava was a standout on each court she saw Sunday, whether it was in the drills or during the games. She has gotten so strong with the ball that she makes dribble-moves look simple against pressure, plus she is absorbing contact so much better attacking the basket. She can finish inside, she has always been a fairly consistent perimeter shooter, but now she has also added a really nice mid-range pull-up to her arsenal. She is a willing passer with good vision, and she has improved as a defender, learning how to take better angles. I'm anticipating her having a big Spring & Summer.

Jayda was fairly impressive with the combination of her size, her strength, and her nonstop aggression inside the arc. She is a true "power" forward. She utilizes her frame to almost bully opposing defenders, and she loves to back them down and score around/over them on the block. She has solid athleticism, and she is adding a mid-post game to her repertoire. Once she is a little more consistent from 15-feet, she could be a real problem. I think this Spring could be huge for her game developmentally.

Kendall moved into Indiana over the Summer, as her father took a new job in Indiana. She is a nonstop, energetic, tough-nosed ballplayer. She just plays with a different energy and aggression, especially offensively. She has an athletic frame, length, and some bounce. She is great off the dribble, she has a nice mid-range game, and she can knock down a rhythm 3-pointer when set. I was just really impressed with her all-around feel for the game and her ability to get through gaps at her height and finish so easily through contact at her age. She will be fun to watch moving forward.

I guess I wasn't aware that Rhyan was a part of the [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] program this year, so it was a pleasant surprise to see her in action Sunday. She is a talented guard who should draw her share of college interest this Spring & Summer. She has nice length, an athletic frame, and she's a nice all-around athlete as well. She handles it solidly in transition and is a good passer, but she is also a very good multilevel scorer who I think I would prefer to run off of screens consistently. She showed some toughness and physicality as a scoring guard, and she rebounded/defended as well.
