One of the best coming out of Texas, Natalia is an aggressive defender, knows how too get to the rim and finish tough lay ups in traffic. Can create off the bounce and get herself a clean look for a jump shot. A reliable ball handler who makes the right decisions down the stretch.
Mikaiya Beasley
Mikaiya Beasley
A low post threat to keep an out for up north is Mikaiya Beasley. A rebounding machine, she is consistent on the glass on both ends of the floor. Her extra effort on the floor puts her team in good situations and opposing teams have to get a body on her with the way she gives her team second chance opportunities. Low post threat with a solid touch!
Trinity stole the show on Day 1 and was the best player on the floor no matter what court she stepped on. Great positional size and does a good job off the dribble making plays, when aggressive she uses her size to finish and see over the defense. She showed versatility on both ends by rebounding and protecting the rim while taking advantage of the open floor whether scoring or facilitating. Wasn’t too many ways she didn’t impact the game, she shot it well off the dribble, got others involved, and defended every position.
Savannah is a shifty guard who loves to create off of the bounce. She attacks gaps, can stop on a dime to pass or shoot. She finishes well with either hand and finds her teammates in places they can be successful. I like how she doesn’t let the defense speed her up and how vocal she is on both ends.
Zya Small
Zya Small
Zya is a long athletic wing who keeps continuous pressure on the defense with her ability to handle the ball in tight spaces and use her size to finish through contact. She takes bigger forwards off the dribble and can make things happen in the post with smaller guards on her. She has a nice all around game and does a good job taking what the defense is giving her.
