These notes are just little comments or concerns about what I think about the players game, live-and-in action, in that moment. Below I am going to highlight five players that I had live notes on during their competitive play on Sunday.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#650 – Mylee Hurse Mylee Hurse 5'0" | PG Fort Wayne Snider | 2027 IN – 5’0 – PG – Fort Wayne Snider – Always 100 AAU
“Agile and quick point guard. Someone that really gets her team and fans pumped up with the energy she brings on the floor. Displays a quick handle that can turn into a bucket or assist rather quickly. Someone who is very tough to stay in front of, throughout the duration of the contest.”
#655 – Avery Losh Avery Losh 5'10" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2027 IN – 5’10 – PF/C – Hamilton Southeast H.S. – Indiana Elite AAU
“Losh is an undersized post player that is honestly pretty good underneath. She doesn’t like to leave her position but understands what it means to spread the floor and move to about 15FT away from the hoop. Someone that can use their body and smarts to get a lot of small, easy buckets near the hoop when they need it the most.”
#613 – McKenzie Chapman McKenzie Chapman 5'8" | CG Zionsville | 2027 State IN – 5’8 – Guard – Zionsville H.S. – Indiana Elite AAU
“ McKenzie Chapman McKenzie Chapman 5'8" | CG Zionsville | 2027 State IN has a lot of promise in her future on the basketball court. Chapman has good size and skill. Her understanding of things around her in quite impressive and when you mix that with her skill, she is superior to a lot of the players that I saw around her on Sunday at the Showcase. Champion shows a great “feel” for the game and that is something a player can’t fake.”
#51 – Kaylie Harmon Kaylie Harmon 5'7" | CG Columbus North | 2027 State IN – 5’5 – CG – Columbus North H.S. – Grand Park Premier AAU
“Solid combo guard. Harmon gets to her spots on offensive whenever she wants. Now all she has to do next is convert those attempts while shooting the ball a little bit more and we are talking about someone who can take this state by storm over these next few years. Her progression over the next few seasons will be vital but as for now, Harmon is a solid guard that brings a lot of positives to the floor on both sides.”
#40 – Jada Frieson Jada Frieson 5'4" | PG Warren Central | 2027 IN – 5’3 – PG – Warren Central H.S. – Indy Belles AAU
“ Jada Frieson Jada Frieson 5'4" | PG Warren Central | 2027 IN gets the people going. Someone who is electric in everything she does on the court. Doesn’t matter if she is scoring, defending, or just causing havoc, Frieson is about it. At one point on Sunday she pulled up out the “rondo” shot fake in transition, getting her opponent to jump off of the court, giving herself a wide open layup at the hoop. After this moment, it was all down hill for Frieson as everyone was screaming and hollering in amazement.”
