There are 83 ranked players and a watch-list that includes some talented players who have a chance to rise in the next rankings. These are some small school guards, some are ranked and others are on the watch-list. The link to the rankings is below.
WL – Ella averaged 16.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 4.2 steals for Kettle Falls last season. Those are some impressive numbers across the stat sheet for the 2025 guard. She had games of 32 and 27 points to name a couple. A triple-double threat and a player to watch in 2024.
#32 – Karsyn scored over 23 points per game last season for a state 2B qualifying Raymond team. She is a good athlete who is excellent in the open floor. She shoots it off the dribble and is great at pulling up with the mid-range jumpers. She has good speed and plays with a high basketball IQ. I was impressed with her this summer in Centralia where she stood out against better competition in the AAU season. She didn’t shoot many threes last season. If she improves that area of her game, she can rise in future rankings. rn
#72– A first team All league pick and 1A all state tournament team selection. She was the second leading scorer and was big in Wapato’s 3rd place finish in class 1A. She was also named MVP in the East West All State Basketball Classic game in Spokane this summer. KK Bass is gone to Western WA University, which will give Wheeler a bigger role in the 2024 season as a scoring guard. rn
#42 – Brooklyn was a big part of the Deer Park state tournament run last season. She played mostly the two-guard and provided a nice secondary scoring option with Darian Herring being the first option. Herring graduated, so Coe will have a bigger role in the offense next season. She is a shooter with a quick trigger. She picks her spots and attacks the defense with short bursts to the basket and also possesses good enough handles to create off the dribble.
Highlights
WL – Scored a school record 38 points in a game last season. She was a first-team SCAC all-league pick. She has a quick release from three and can relocate off the dribble to get herself open. She has deep range well beyond the arc and hit multiple threes in nearly every game last season. A bucket getter to watch. rn
