Here I take a look at a few of the young ladies who I think will have a jump in production from last year to this upcoming season.
Audrey Bhesania Audrey Bhesania 5'11" | SF Sandra Day O'Connor | 2026 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor (Featured Image)
Bhesania will play everywhere from the 1 to the 3 for the Lady Eagles. With her development over the spring and summer she will be expected to play a prominent role for one of the better teams in the state.
Averi Mehlberg Averi Mehlberg 5'9" | SG Chandler | 2026 State AZ Chandler
Mehlberg is primed to lead a young Wolves team towards the playoffs this season. Her overall game has been blossoming and she will be among the best players in the AIA.
Izabella Juarez Izabella Juarez 6'0" | PF ALA West-Foothills | 2026 State AZ ALA West-Foothills
The transfer will take on more of a leadership role at her new school. Her game has been transforming into more of a perimeter player and it’s going to help in her development.
Lamaiya Woodberry Lamaiya Woodberry 5'8" | SF McClintock | 2026 State AZ McClintock
Woodberry is in line to step up big under the new coaching staff. She is a versatile guard/wing who will look to lead Tock back to the playoffs.
Nevaeh Limbacher Nevaeh Limbacher 6'2" | PF Kellis | 2026 State AZ Kellis
Nevaeh should have a very good season as she gets fully healthy leading up to the season. She is a fluid athlete whose skill set is beginning to blossom the more she plays.
