With 12 teams filled with Indiana preps in the classes of 2024-2026, there were plenty of strong players and standouts. With that said, this article will focus on two young ladies I felt stood out from each team (Teams #1, #2, & #3) when I was able to see them.

Team-1:
Ella Bobe

, 2025, 5-9 G, South Knox H.S.
– Ella did Ella things at the 250. She is a strong, poised/savvy, veteran guard who doesn’t rush or force the action. She takes care of the ball against pressure and uses her frame to hold defenders at bay. She can make a dribble-move and get downhill North/South to finish at the basket, but she also showed an accurate stroke from the perimeter. She has already drawn Division-I offers/interest, and rightfully so.
Team-1:
Ava Turner

– I was impressed with Ava’s complete game at the event. She has a fairly long, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, but she was ultra-assertive offensively and scored the ball at all three levels. She was good making a move and getting to the rim, but she also showed some touch from the perimeter. If she can continue to tighten her skillset and produce against good competition, she can become an elite small college forward prospect.
Team-2:
Kelis Dansby

– Kelis is a highlight play most possessions. She is very athletic, strong for her age, quick, fast, and bouncy. I still think there are times she needs to let the game come to her a bit, but she looked much more disciplined from a year ago, and she made several really nice passes to cutting teammates. I felt like that was the best part of her game at the event, though she did also rebound very well for a guard, plus she defended.
Team-2:
Emma Schoen

Silver Creek | 2026

, 2026, 5-7 PG, Silver Creek H.S.
– Emma is a natural point guard, with nice length, a wiry frame, plus some speed and quickness. But at the 250 she showcased her ability to make shots, and with range. If she has any space and can get her shoulders square on the rim in rhythm, she is automatic, whether that’s at 20-feet or 25-feet. She is also a feisty defender, and she did a nice job of getting her long arms in passing lanes and causing deflections/steals.
Team-3:
Kassie McMasters

, 2025, 5-8 G/W, Southport H.S.
– Kassie was a late entry to the event, and I’m happy she was able to attend. She is an absolute dawg on the court, she plays with a tremendous motor and toughness, and she will run through walls for her team. She has a unique ability to score the ball at all three levels. While she has a strong frame, she can explode and get downhill quickly, plus she has a very quick release on her jumper…a true “jump”-shot where she elevates well.
Team-3:
Bailey Hape

, 2026, 5-10 G/W, Evansville F.J. Reitz H.S.
– Bailey was good all Summer, and she carried that play into this event. She is a “jack of all trades”, or a Swiss Army Knife, or whatever other worn out analogy you’d like me to use. She has nice length, wiry strength, and she’s a smooth and fluid wing who can handle the ball, initiate the offense, get to the basket and create for herself or others, plus she has nice touch outside as well. Oh, and she can defend multiple positions.
