Alas, I don’t have all that time and I’m not allowed that much space. So here are five more players that kept popping back up in my notes because of the great things that I saw them doing at the I-35 Showcase down in Edmond.
Mya stands out immediately at any showcase like this because she is very tall and very, very long. She is still learning to fully use her height when it comes to finishing inside through contact, but that doesn’t stop her from collecting a lot of rebounds on both ends of the floor. She also showed a really smooth, fluid shooting stroke that she used to rack up the points from mid and long range. Mya made her free throws consistently, also. She is clearly a very talented athlete and with the help of great high school and club team coaching, she is going to be a big-time prospect by the time she is ready to commit in a few years.

I spoke yesterday about the 2025 class and how some of the great players in the class can kind of go unnoticed because the class is absolutely loaded with talent from top to bottom. I think that Katie is definitely one of those players who is not getting nearly the attention that she deserves. You just don’t see many players with the shooting ability that she has. Not just the ability to hit the three, which she definitely can do, but you hardly ever see many athletes at this level just rise up and take a midrange because the space was offered to them. She is a pure scorer. Her sneaky hops and ability to get her shot off if given even a foot or two reminds me a lot of 2024 No. 3 player Jill Twiehaus Jill Twiehaus 5’10” | SG Jenks | 2024 State OK . Katie is a big-time prospect and had the gym abuzz on Saturday.
A large portion of the videos uploaded online of Hope and her undefeated Fever squad from Saturday feature her dishing dime after dime to teammates who rained threes on the opposition. It’s true, she does have great vision and was facilitating a lot. But, don’t be fooled. Hope Bump Hope Bump 5’8″ | CG Claremore | 2025 State OK is a bucket. She is a high-motor player that goes hard, all game long. Even in individual drills she was on the floor fighting for loose balls. That’s just who she is. 100% effort, 100% of the time. She is incredibly fun to watch, especially when she gets going shooting the ball. It’s just lights out. She is a well-built, very strong guard who can take the beating inside if you need her to. Whatever a team needs to win, Hope will provide. That’s why she is a big-time prospect!
I love going to a showcase and finding out that Logan is going to be there. I see a lot of players over and over again, but I feel like each time I see Logan play, I’m going to see something that I haven’t seen before. A large part of that is due to the fact that she is often the most naturally athletic person on the court and that has proven to provide some outstanding highlights as she slashes her way to the rim or pulls up for a midrange where her feet appear to be at the defenders waste. Another part of that is that Logan is clearly a student of the game and every time you see her play, you know that you are going to find any deficiency may have had last time tightened up just a little more. She just gets better and better and it’s time to add her name to the list of big-time 2025 prospects!

Sahara Green

Sahara is a very high tempo player with a motor that just does not quit. The trip up to Edmond from San Antonio didn’t slow her down and neither did several games back-to-back-to-back. She went just as hard in the individual drills at the beginning as she did in the final scrimmage. Green impressed scouts and coaches in attendance with her talkativeness and general attitude with teammates throughout the course of the day. She has plenty of dedication and skill when it comes to defense. As she learns to mix in more change of speed with her offensive game, she is going to be scary good on both ends of the floor.
