And now her 17U summer never got off the ground. Nearing recovery, there's one thing that is certain. When Miller is on the court, she won't take her foot off the pedal. The northern Oklahoma prospect has one of the best motors in the state. Characterized by her outstanding rebounding and scoring production. She's strong and blessed with a plus wingspan, which she always puts to good use. Even though transfers without setting out have become the norm, Manning had to miss her junior season at Edmond Santa Fe due to transfer rules. After a winter away from competitive basketball, she's played with the Lady Wolves in June leagues and played 17U ball with Unity. Strong around the rim, Manning can also face up and attack off the bounce. Quality athlete, as evident by also being a standout in volleyball as well. She was a gritty role player as a freshman on a Class 3A semifinalist Community Christian squad. After missing her sophomore season, she stepped into a leadership role as a junior for her new program. Her tough minded playing style seemed to rub off on her teammates, leading to a Class 3A Area playoff run. Along with the determination on the court, she's a capable scorer and connector on offense. Hitting tough shots at the rim, open threes and often making the right passes. As her father accepted the baseball coaching job at Hilldale. She has the toughness expected from a coach's daughter. Tough on the defensive end, she also plays fearless as a driver. Which when defenders do back off she'll knock down open threes. Or she'll make them pay with smart passing.
