Sunday September 3rd I attended the Arizona TOP 250 EXPO at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ.

I watched all five teams play twice and this is how they performed when they were on the main court.

Here are the Team 2 Standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id='639464' first='Cynthia' last='Tewksbury'] Canyon View

An undersized point guard has a huge IQ for the game. She cuts when she should and will facilitate with drive and kicks after she blew by her defender to get into the paint. She uses her quickness to collect steals and has good open court speed. She can hit the deep three off the dribble or catch.

Kanzas Mills SG 5'6 2024 South Sevier/UT

Another Utah player made the trip down to Arizona. She can score it from the three point line off the catch with a quick release and uses runners well. She can burst to the basket for layup and rebounds the ball well.

[player_tooltip player_id='755554' first='Trece' last='Tsingine'] Tuba City (Pictured)

A stronger wing forward is a good passer with a sturdy frame. She can rip through towards the rim and score thru contact plus has a quick three point stroke off the dribble. She will grab a ball off the backboard and go coast to coast. She should make some noise in Tuba City the next year or so.

[player_tooltip player_id='612227' first='Teagan' last='Martin'] Flagstaff

A junior point guard should have a breakout year up North. She can score on threes off the catch, layups in traffic after she changes speeds and has quick moves in the paint. She will also collect steals and can race down for a layup.

[player_tooltip player_id='481475' first='Averi' last='Mehlberg'] Chandler

One of the top shooting sophomores had a good showing. She will rattle in threes off the dribble or catch one by one with a quick release. She can rise up from mid-range and has a polished floater. She has a good feel for the game. She uses the pick and roll action and will throw a dime to a teammate and can handle it with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='754696' first='Olivia' last='Trosko'] Pinnacle

A newcomer is a power forward with decent size who can defend and score. She can grab rebounds in her area and will block shots. Offensively she handles the ball well and can euro her way into the lane and kiss it off the glass. She uses ball fakes and will go up to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='623997' first='Sophia' last='Yancy'] Desert Vista

A strong post player was one of the top rebounders in attendance. She cleans the glass and then keeps the ball high. She will go up quickly after a board and scores on face-ups, drop steps, half hook shots and runners. She will also block shots in her area with great length.

[player_tooltip player_id='339067' first='Janessa' last='Barcello'] Sandra Day O'Connor

A post player with good awareness. She is a very good help side defender and will rebound and block shots in and out of her area. She can score with dribble drives to the basket, post moves and creates her own. She is also a good passer using her big IQ for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='624028' first='Taylor' last='Sipfle'] Hamilton

A top-10 rated sophomore backed it up. She can score on pick and roll catches and finish, she keeps the ball high and has a pretty touch from 10-feet and in. She is a top of the food chain rebounder and shot blocker. She often keeps plays alive with her size. length and motor and she repeatedly sprinted the court to gain the needed position to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='755356' first='Elleigh' last='Molinar'] Perry (possibly)

The youngest player in the showcase may of been one of the ten best players in attendance. She scores the ball easily but can also set the table. She has a tight handle for any class and is a good passer up the court with next level vision. She can score on deep threes off the dribble or catch and is quick on the ball defensively. In a tight game she made the 1-and-1 FT to win the game by one point.
