The Class of 2024 is getting ready to begin the last Winter of their high school careers, as teams are two weeks away from their first official practices for the 2023-2024 season. Last week, we released our updated rankings for 2024. We did not expand the list at all, so there is still a Top-100 and a watch list of another 125 prospects, forming a total of 225 members of the Class of 2024 listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. This quarter is more of a maintenance update heading into the high school season, but we will expand the list one final time around Christmas. Below, I wanted to highlight all of the point guards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as highlight a handful of ladies who stood out throughout the Summer and early Fall.

SUMMER/FALL STOCK-RISERS & ANY NEWCOMERS:
Hermoni Andrew

Ben Davis | 2024

, 2024, 5-5 PG, Ben Davis H.S.
– Not a lot of people are familiar with Hermoni on a statewide level, but she is one of the better true point guards in the Indianapolis area. She has really nice length, a wiry-strong frame, plus she’s an athlete in all directions. She handles and takes care of the ball for the Lady Giants, and she does a nice job of being efficient. Additionally, she is one of the best on-ball defenders and can pick up and control opponents the length of the floor.

, 2024, 5-8 PG, Bedford North Lawrence H.S.
– Madisyn really picked up her play and was much more consistent throughout June and July. She has always been a strong, somewhat physical ball-handler, who brings a toughness to the position. She is a tough-to-stop downhill driver, and she draws a lot of contact going to the basket. She takes care of the ball, gets it where it needs to go, plus she’s an effortful defender who will use her strength to her advantage.
Jayden Flagg

, 2024, 5-6 PG, New Prairie H.S.
– Jayden unfortunately dealt with some injury issues early in her career, but over the last 18 months or so has been really good. She has a solid, athletic frame with some length, and she does a nice job of using her quickness in spurts. She is a good perimeter shooter, an outstanding free throw shooter, but she also has a natural feel for the game, she has always played with a veteran savvy, and she has good vision and a nice handle.
Riley Milausnic

Lake Central | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-7 PG, Lake Central H.S.
– Riley has played off the ball the last couple of years because of people around her and her ability to shoot it with range. This Spring & Summer, however, she was back on the ball, and by July she looked comfortable and was stringing together really nice performances. She had the ball on a string handling it, but she was also physical against pressure. She still shot it well, plus she showed a toughness and aggressiveness defensively.
Lauren Walsh

5'7" | PG
Penn | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-7 PG, Penn H.S.
– I know I have mentioned this before, but Lauren is somewhat of an unknown statewide, because she moved in from North Carolina as a Sophomore, and she played for grassroots teams out of Illinois & Michigan. She is long and wiry, quick, fast, and feisty. She brings a lot of energy to the floor and seems to bring her teammates up with her. She has a quick handle, she’s creative, and she can score the ball at all three levels.
