Several of these young players will be the primary option on their respected teams and others will play their roles. In this article we look at some of the youngsters who will impact girls basketball on the First Coast this upcoming season.
Terrell McCoy

garnered a lot of attention on the final weekend of fall ball and fueled a lot of speculation and predictions for the upcoming season. McCoy stands at 6’4 and looks like the second coming of former Sandalwood standout Jada Jones. McCoy looked unstoppable at times and showed some nice footwork in the process. She scored well and had the ability to finish at the rim with the left and right hand.
Asiana McCreary

(Cover) made some noise the last day of the fall league and will be looking to do the same in her Freshman year at Bartram. McCreary is tall and lengthy and is versatile enough to contribute in the paint and outside of the paint. She shoots the three ball well and knows how to score in the paint. McCreary is also a good rebounder and runs the floor well on the break.
Miranda Campos Miranda Campos 5'10" | SF Bartram | 2026 State FL gave glimpses of what the front court at Bartram can be like with her athleticism and ability to control the boards on both sides of the floor. Campos has a lot of physical gifts and is explosive off of the floor. She is likely to average close to a double double with her ability to score inside and rebound the basketball.
Arianna Walker Arianna Walker 5'8" | CG Beachside | 2026 State FL was one of the most impressive young players on the court on the final day of the Fall League. She got after it on defense and made it challenging for a lot of talented basketball players. Walker is that superior athletically. She was a beast in the transition game, going coast to coast several times. Beachside is going to be one of the top teams in St John’s county and Walker will play a huge roll. She will be the one defending the opponent’s best player.

has made some strides since her summer AAU experience. At 6’2 she can run the floor and defend on the interior and will be a nice role player this upcoming season. She will also have 2 of the best forwards in St John’s county to work with and that should pay huge dividends in her development.
Evelyn Freeman

looked to be in mid season form as she was handling the point guard duties for her team. Freeman had a huge summer and played on an elite level. Freeman can shoot it, drive it, and distribute the rock. She is a playmaker who has the speed and quickness to make life miserable for defenses. This season she could lead the First Coast in assists. She is a year wiser and has talent all around her.
Presley Norman looked good on Saturday at the fall league finale. Fresh off of an impressive PGH 250 EXPO performance, Norman was out on the court draining three pointers from the elbow. Norman can handle the ball and play the one or the two. She makes Bolles one of the most potent offenses on the First Coast and she, Knauff, and Stakem could lead the area in 3s made this upcoming season.
Alyssa Donohue Alyssa Donohue 5'10" | SF Bartram | 2026 State FL played well on the final day of the Fall League. She is a tall guard who can score the ball in a lot of ways, including the jumper and on the break. Donohue is a high IQ guard who puts pressure on the defense because of her length and ability to shoot the ball. She thrives in the transition game where she can fill the lanes and get to the rim and score. Donohue also has playmaking abilities and knows how to get her teammates the ball. Defensively, she plays an aggressive in your face style of defense and uses her length to play in the passing lanes and get steals.
