Layla Blumberg
I first watched Blumberg this past summer at the Michigan Summer Showdown. While playing up a couple of grades, she was the smallest player on the court. That didn’t stop her at all from scoring at the rim through traffic. She played well beyond her years with a very high basketball IQ. I would love to see her stand out at the Headliners Invitational!
We have written about Butler quite a bit this past Spring and Summer, and that’s because she keeps showing up and showing out! She is an athletic wing who can get downhill and knock down the outside shot. I would love to see her continue her high level of play at the Headliners Invitational.
I love to watch shooter’s shoot and that is exactly what Skrabis is. She can also lock down on the defensive end as well. I would love to add another shooter to the list at the Headliners Invitational.
Every team needs a Point Guard that is an exceptional passer, and Durland fits that bill. She sees the floor and always makes the right choice for her team. She can also knock down shots from deep. I would love to add another elite Point Guard to the Headliners Invitational.
Highlights
Kamphuis has shown over the past couple of years that she can play at a high level. She can handle the rock and is an exceptional shooter. I’d love to see her showcase her ball-handling skills at the Headliners Invitational.
Roe has consistently improved her game over the years. I love what she brings to the table as a lead guard. She makes all the hustle plays and makes those around her better. I would love to see her bring the energy to the Headliners Invitational.
