Kara Brinkley is an asset on both ends of the court. She anticipates what her opponents are going to do being ready to deflect the pass or block the shot protecting the basket. She grabs these steals and pushes them up the court finding ways to get the ball to her teammates while she fills in the open lanes. She always keeps her eyes peeled for the best pass finding her open teammates underneath the basket.
Highlights
Emma Montanari is an excellent facilitator handling the ball, attacking the gaps, getting to the rim, and showing off her range. She has been competing against high level competition already, and she knows how to make offensive plays based on what the defense shows her. She’s smooth handling the ball changing directions quickly to create her own space or make some for her teammates to score.
Brook Evans is a player who can do a little bit of everything for her team. She can handle the ball from the top of the key using hesitation moves to throw off her defenders as she scores at the rim. She can step outside of the perimeter and score some points there, too. She combines the fluid motion of a guard with the footwork of a post when she gets in the paint being sure to score some points.
Highlights
Jeanna Baskerville is excellent in the paint showing off fierce post moves that she can do against anyone. Her footwork is top notch already knowing how to feel her defender and get in the right position. She can score off the entry pass on the block, or she can catch the pass off her quick cuts through the paint and go to work with her handles. She is sure to work for rebounds on both ends of the court, too.
Asia Burton is tough handling the ball being able to score no matter where she is on the court. She creates space with her ball fakes making her defenders lose their footing as she blows by them or pulls up for the jump shot. She reads the floor well knowing how to make the pass to her teammates as the defense crashes around her.
Highlights
Reagan Lindholm came right in her freshman season seeing a lot of playing time with a state championship team. She knows how to run offensive sets, and she finds the opening showing off her range shooting the ball well from deep. She can drive the ball hard up the court scoring on a fast break herself, and she reads her opponents well jumping in passing lanes to grab the steal.
