Baskerville was a huge reason why Delaney Rudd and his Phoenix squad were able to win another championship on the Insider Exposure circuit. Baskerville, who recently committed to Wake Forest, was very good in all phases of the game but her biggest impact came rebounding the basketball and blocking and altering shots on the defensive end. She is another “big” who has the power and strength to go with her height which helped her to finish through contact at the rim several times over the course of the weekend. Her strength is also evident when she receives the ball. Opposing guards dropping down in help to try and rip the ball out had no chance getting it out of her vice grip. I have seen her game consistently improve over the last two seasons and every aspect was on display in Greensboro. Physically, Jeanna is as impressive a player as I saw all weekend, with the exception of Elle Johnson Elle Johnson 6'2" | C Jefferson | 2029 State GA . Both kids look like division one players right now just walking around the coliseum.

Jeanna Baskerville Jeanna Baskerville 6'1" | C Winston Salem Christian | 2027 State NC is tough in the paint going to work without the ball to get the look inside, using her body to protect the possession, and going to work scoring off the glass and battling contact in the process.  She gets her hands in the way on defense knocking the ball out of her opponents’ hands.  She shows her teammates right where she wants the ball whether it’s a bounce pass or a lob to get the entry and bucket for her.

An extremely physical post player that loves contact. Jeanna dominates the paint offensively and defensively. On defense she is always working and fighting to keep the ball out of the paint. Offensively, she is persistent trying to get position and posting hard for the ball. She is also tough on the boards. Baskerville will be a high priority to see this summer for many college coaches.

Baskerville has strength, toughness and a next level body that allows her to be extremely physical in the post area. She uses that to her advantage and normally gets early defensive position because her footwork is good and she overpowers her opponent. Players struggle to score over her and she is a powerful force on the boards.

Jeanna looks like a college player right now, even compared to some of the biggest players at the event. She obviously has the height at 6’1, but her power and strength give her the look of a traditional, back to the basket post player. It was quite a surprise for me to see her step out to the three point line multiple times in each game to take shots from three point range. She looked good doing it. I have seen her play probably ten times the last 2-3 years and she took more three point shots this weekend than she did in every event combined before. She already holds multiple division one offers, including one from Wake Forest, but her stock will only continue to rise if she can continue to consistently pop out and be a threat to score from outside the paint as well. Scoring inside is something she has done well for a long time. She has soft hands catching the ball and finishing around the rim when targeted in the offense, but does a lot of her damage hitting the offensive boards hard getting easy put backs for herself or extra possessions for her team.

A post player that is on the rise. She has made her way back from a knee injury and is competing at an extremely high level. Recently has picked up several D1 offers that include two P4 schools. Jeanna plays an extremely aggressive game in the post. Always working for position on the block and asking for the ball. Jeanna is also a very tough defender and will knock back down to anyone. She does a nice job of controlling the board as well.

Jeanna Baskerville Jeanna Baskerville 6'1" | C Winston Salem Christian | 2027 State NC did well getting her hands in the way on defense grabbing steals and rebounds.  She found her open teammates to push the tempo going the other direction, and she flashed to the block making sure she was a target to get the pass.  She knew how to read the defense and go to work for her points flashing in the paint looking for the pass.

Baskerville played an extremely aggressive game on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she was using her body and making contact all through the game to make it extremely difficult for the opposing team. She had their post players frustrated and rattled due to her physicality. Offensively, she never backed away from contact either. Used her body to post up and hold off the defenders. Showed she can battle with the best of them. A true post at the next level that will sacrifice her body to win!

Jeanna Baskerville Jeanna Baskerville 6'1" | C Winston Salem Christian | 2027 State NC has been showing off next level footwork for years, and she will continue to do that as the competition continues to get more fierce.  She has great size to play at the next level for sure, and she makes sure to take advantage of it on defense blocking shots or deflecting passes.  Her ability to grab rebounds against anyone on both sides of the court helps her extend plays or end the possession for her opponents.

She is a 2027 and she is talented! Baskerville can guard any position and she can score from nearly any spot on the court. Baskerville is smooth, she is aggressive, and she finishes well in the paint. A year ago, she scored nearly 13 points per game and grabbed over 10 rebounds per night. Baskerville is also a force on defense. She blocked – or altered – multiple shots each game for her squad. The 2027 has already picked up multiple Division 1 offers.
