About Jeanna
Expert Analysis

Baskerville has strength, toughness and a next level body that allows her to be extremely physical in the post area. She uses that to her advantage and normally gets early defensive position because her footwork is good and she overpowers her opponent. Players struggle to score over her and she is a powerful force on the boards.

Jeanna looks like a college player right now, even compared to some of the biggest players at the event. She obviously has the height at 6’1, but her power and strength give her the look of a traditional, back to the basket post player. It was quite a surprise for me to see her step out to the three point line multiple times in each game to take shots from three point range. She looked good doing it. I have seen her play probably ten times the last 2-3 years and she took more three point shots this weekend than she did in every event combined before. She already holds multiple division one offers, including one from Wake Forest, but her stock will only continue to rise if she can continue to consistently pop out and be a threat to score from outside the paint as well. Scoring inside is something she has done well for a long time. She has soft hands catching the ball and finishing around the rim when targeted in the offense, but does a lot of her damage hitting the offensive boards hard getting easy put backs for herself or extra possessions for her team.

A post player that is on the rise. She has made her way back from a knee injury and is competing at an extremely high level. Recently has picked up several D1 offers that include two P4 schools. Jeanna plays an extremely aggressive game in the post. Always working for position on the block and asking for the ball. Jeanna is also a very tough defender and will knock back down to anyone. She does a nice job of controlling the board as well.

did well getting her hands in the way on defense grabbing steals and rebounds. She found her open teammates to push the tempo going the other direction, and she flashed to the block making sure she was a target to get the pass. She knew how to read the defense and go to work for her points flashing in the paint looking for the pass.

Baskerville played an extremely aggressive game on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she was using her body and making contact all through the game to make it extremely difficult for the opposing team. She had their post players frustrated and rattled due to her physicality. Offensively, she never backed away from contact either. Used her body to post up and hold off the defenders. Showed she can battle with the best of them. A true post at the next level that will sacrifice her body to win!

has been showing off next level footwork for years, and she will continue to do that as the competition continues to get more fierce. She has great size to play at the next level for sure, and she makes sure to take advantage of it on defense blocking shots or deflecting passes. Her ability to grab rebounds against anyone on both sides of the court helps her extend plays or end the possession for her opponents.

She is a 2027 and she is talented! Baskerville can guard any position and she can score from nearly any spot on the court. Baskerville is smooth, she is aggressive, and she finishes well in the paint. A year ago, she scored nearly 13 points per game and grabbed over 10 rebounds per night. Baskerville is also a force on defense. She blocked – or altered – multiple shots each game for her squad. The 2027 has already picked up multiple Division 1 offers.

Baskerville is an exceptional finisher around the basket. She seeks contact and scores through that contact. Baskerville will grab a defensive rebound, outlet to a guard, run the length of the floor, catch and score in stride. She is a phenomenal player who only continues to improve for her squad on the court. The sky is the limit for Baskerville.

does it all on the basketball court. She scores, she rebounds, she blocks shots, and she is a skilled passer. Baskerville is an efficient player who converts on nearly everything she touches in the paint. During her freshman year of high school, Baskerville connected on 52% of her attempts from the floor. She also gets to the free throw line often. Baskerville can change a game on offense, on defense, or on the glass.

Jeanna Baskerville uses her court vision exceptionally well on the block constantly following the ball to get the open look. She can handle the ball herself exploding up the court on fast breaks and from the top of the key, or she can show off her footwork in the paint scoring against any kind of competition. Her size is certainly an asset on defense being able to deflect passes with ease and grab rebounds to end the possession for her opponents.
