Class of 2027 Watch List of Point Guards and Wings

Prep Girls Missouri takes a look at a talented group of Class of 2027 prospects who are entering the high school ranks. There are plenty of very good young point guards and wings who will be in the mix this season. Here are a few to start you off.

POINT/COMBO GUARDS

Ryenn Gordon Ryenn Gordon 5'7" | PG Centralia | 2027 MO (Centralia): A 5’7 point guard who is one of the top young prospects in the state. She has good speed and quickness and she will be an impact player for a team that will be an excellent Class 4 team.

Amaya Manuel Amaya Manuel 5'7" | PG Lift for Life | 2027 MO (Lift for Life): A talented 5’7 guard who is a three-level scorer who can create her own shot with her smooth handles. She joins a very talented group of guards that will make the Hawks a contender in Class 4

Julia Wegener Julia Wegener 5'8" | PG Blue Springs | 2027 MO (Blue Springs): A 5’8″ combo guard who is one of the top incoming freshmen in the Kansas City area. She plays with excellent pace and she has the ability to score.

Lily Todd (Lutheran-St. Charles): A 5’6″ point guard who is an excellent playmaker with her passing and ball handling skills. Her court vision is very good and she can also shoot the ball well from 3-point range.

Cara Manuel Cara Manuel 5'7" | PG Lift for Life | 2027 MO (Lift for Life): A 5’7″ point guard who joins her twin sister Amaya as part of the Hawks very talented freshman class. She is a excellent playmaker and defensive player who can also score and rebound.

WINGS

Grace Means Grace Means 5'10" | PG Troy Buchanan | 2027 MO (Troy, pictured): A talented 5’10” shooting guard who will be a excellent addition to an already good Trojans team that won a district championship. “Swaggy G” is a three-level scorer with good playmaking ability.

Brielle Mays Brielle Mays 5'8" | PG Staley | 2027 MO (Staley): A 5’9″ guard who is one of the top 2027s in the Kansas City area. The young lefty is a very good slashing threat on offense who can also hit the 3-point shot.

Sway Jones Sway Jones 5'9" | SG Battle | 2027 MO (Battle): A 5’9″ shooting guard who is one of the top 2027s in the Mid-Mo area. She is a smooth offensive player with extended shooting range and good handles to create her own shot.

Lexi Ament (Crocker): A 5’7″ guard who is one of the most impressive perimeter shooters in the class. She will have an immediate impact for Crocker with her ability to score. She has already picked up an offer from Stephens College.

Jayce Green (University City): A 5’10 wing who has the height and skill set to be a matchup problem. She has smooth handles and playmaking skills with the ability to score.
