SubscribeThe Headliners Invitational, which was held on Sunday, November 12th at Great Lakes Christian College, showcased the top uncommitted prospects in Michigan. The third session of the event included prospects from 2028-2030, who were coached by Assistant Coach Kirk Carolan of Macomb Community College and Assistant Coach Jessica Duleba of Oakland Community College. College coaches led sessions on offensive, defensive, and full-court skills before the athletes competed in full-court games. The event was exclusively covered by PGH scouts, while the SnipBack App was used to record games. Participants were provided with reversibles by Moneyball Sportswear.
6 colleges evaluated prospects on-site during sessions one and two with 80+ prospects participating across three sessions. The event was successful due to the exceptional format, prospects, coaches, sponsors, scouts, and organizers who were well-prepared.
Here are the prospects from Session Three, Team Three!

Alivia Miller
Alivia Miller
#19 Alivia Miller had a good showing at the Headliners Invitational! She consistently made shots from beyond the arc and had a reliable mid-range jumper. Her ability to sprint the floor paid off with easy transition baskets. The future looks bright for Miller!

Shelby Zimmer
Shelby Zimmer
#62 Shelby Zimmer performed well on both ends on the court at the Headliners Invitational! On the defensive end, she played the passing lanes and got deflections. She was a pesky on-ball defender. Offensively, she pushed the pace with exceptional ball-handling skills. She was small but mighty and unafraid to attack the basket or fight for offensive rebounds. Kent City continues to produce prospects, and Zimmer will be ready for the task.

Adelyn Thelen
Adelyn Thelen
#20 Adelyn Thelen did so many great things at the Headliners Invitational! She used a crossover dribble at the top of the key to blow by her defender and was an excellent decision-maker once she got in the lane. A highlight for Thelen was having back-to-back 3’s in her last game of the night. I look forward to watching more of Thelen over the next few years.

Brailyn VanAlstine
Brailyn VanAlstine
#57 Brailyn VanAlstine was a hustle player for her team at the Headliners Invitational! She was everywhere on the court, sprinting the floor for easy transition buckets, fighting for offensive rebounds, and getting some put-backs. She had a big block and made a couple mid-range jumpers. VanAlstine will be a fun prospect to watch at Charlotte in the future!

Maggie Gingras
Maggie Gingras
#29 Maggie Gingras improved as the day went on at the Headliners Invitational! I could see her gaining confidence as the camp went on. She started taking some shots and making multiple 3’s by the end of the camp. She also became more aggressive and showed us her pesky on-ball defense. I look forward to watching Maggie’s game progress in the upcoming years.

Dakota Trierweller
Dakota Trierweller
#25 Dakota Trierweller had some nice highlights at the Headliners Invitational! She drove the lane and finished with an impressive reverse lay-up. She had exceptional passing skills in transition, delivering dimes every single time. She worked hard on the defensive end and came away with multiple steals. Trierweller will be a fun prospect to watch in years to come.

Jadyn Thelen
Jadyn Thelen
#69 Jadyn Thelen was a strong Post player at the Headliners Invitational! She has excellent footwork around the rim, catches, and finishes high. She was dominant on the glass on both ends of the floor. Thelen will be a prospect to keep an eye on over the next few years!

Kaiya Mahabir
Kaiya Mahabir
#15 Kaiya Mahabir showed that she will be a top prospect in the Michigan class of 2028 at the Headliners Invitational! She plays well beyond her years with her passing skills. She was constantly communicating on the court. She has exceptional ball-handling skills, helping her finish through traffic in the lane. She was a great on-ball defender and had multiple steals and blocks on the day. I’m excited to watch Mahabir over the next few years.
#5 Gabby Gaydosh shined at the Headliners Invitational! She is excellent with the ball in her hands and playing off the ball. She is so crafty when she gets in the lane; she had the crowd in awe with her step-through finish. She had a nice pull-up jumper in transition. She has a nose for the ball, rebounding at a high level from her guard position. Gaydosh will be a top prospect in the class of 2028!
