SubscribeEast TN is loaded with talent. Let’s be honest. Everyone has a “Fab 5” or an “Elite 8” but they may not want to actually say it. We are talking about kids!!! Well, I’m giving you 5 kids in or right around the Knox County area to know right now! Call it, “Meade’s Fab 5 of Knoxville!”
PG – Alexis Hammock
CG – Skylar Walden
CG – Payton Rollins
CG – Peyton Wood
PF – Payton Richmond
Yes, I’m running the 4 guards but Peyton Wood is my 5’10 versatile player that can guard anyone on the court! Good luck pressing Hammock, Walden, or Rollins. Actually, you will not be pressing those 3 and you know exactly why. This team is stacked! Ball handlers, defenders, & shooters!! Richmond will never have to worry about getting the post entry passes from any of these guards!
Okay, we have to have an Elite 8. There is NO WAY that I can leave out Cailyn Taylor, Abby Roberts, & Olivia Loveday. Taylor is about to lock every one up! Cailyn is definitely one of the best defenders! Here comes Abby Roberts with the midrange game. The best mid range game in all of East Tennessee, heck maybe even the entire state. Olivia Loveday is MY VOICE! All of the other kids just got better by having Olivia on their side!
This isn’t good. There is still way too much Knox talent to leave out. If I do the Elite 8 then maybe I do need the sweet 16. I can put 16 on my basketball team, right? I’m adding Trinity Curry, Izy Wiles, Maddie Braden, Reagan Sheridan, Jacy Cox Jacy Cox 5'8" | PG Alcoa | 2026 State TN , Kaliyah Burden, Faith Morris, & Kiki Clay!
Remember, this is right near Knox County. I didn’t even mention any talent in Clarksville, Cumberland, Cleveland, Rockvale, McMinn Central, and the gifts of talent that just keep giving!
Knox County is stacked with talent. Whether it’s NAIA, D3, D2, or D1 – the kids above will play at the next level as long as they keep working! Remember, they are only freshman. I stay excited for the entire 2027 class across our state! This class is extremely deep!
