About Alexis
Expert Analysis

Alexis controlled the offense and played with great pace throughout. She used a filthy shot fake to get her defender off balance and followed it with a smooth step-through finish. Alexis is a shifty guard who creates with her handles and gets downhill with speed. She consistently put pressure on the defense and made plays as a scorer or dropped dimes to teammates when facilitating the offense.

A solid two-way player who is ready to get after it. She is a kid who is an efficient operator nightly for her squad. She can score in multiple ways, create for herself and others, but what I love most about her is her ability to defend. She doesn’t shy away on this end and turns defensive opportunities into easy transition buckets. She plays the game with a passion. A grinder who competes on every possession. She will be an essential piece in this CAK attack as they look to take the next steps toward state contention.

She kept her head up on the dribble to scan the floor and push the ball ahead. Thrived in uptempo play and looked to up the ante whenever she saw fit. Firm handles; used her body as a shield to avoid careless turnovers.

A confident ball player who knows how to play with pace and space. She can facilitate the rock, putting teammates in scoring opportunities. However, she can get rid of the ball and relocate to favorable spots where she can knock it down and finish. Her court awareness is crazy good in the fact that she can do damage from multiple levels on the floor. Knock down 3s, gets to the rim, doesn’t matter where she is on the court, she is always a threat. She is more than an offensive threat, as she gets after it on the defensive end as well. This kid is a solid two-way player who can contribute at a consistent clip.

Tough scoring guard who can fill in up. No matter if it’s inside or out, she consistently finds the bottom of the net. She can create for herself off the bounce, or play off the ball and come off screens. She is solid on both ends of the floor. A heady ball player who is one of the top players in her class.

Hammock continues to show why she separates herself from many athletes! She’s one of the strongest guards on the floor at all times. Hammock made 13 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists look easy against Wartburg. It doesn’t matter what team Alexis plays against, she stands out! She has elite court vision and continues to make plays that make people go, “WOW” with some of those passes. She makes those jaw dropping passes like it’s nothing. This one is a special athlete that will continue to be at the top of the ’27 class. She is one of the savviest athletes on the court at all times. Keep your eyes on Alexis and this tough Coalfield team as they make their way to states!

Heady PG who can push the ball in transition. She can get downhill to finish at the rim, knock down the 3 ball at a consistent clip, run any offense efficiently, and go to work in a one v one opportunity. She keeps her head on a swivel, making the right play. She can easily shift to playing off the ball, either way, her presence on the court brings value to her team and is a threat to her opponents. She’s nice on the defensive end too. Keep an eye on this prospect as she continues to add more tools to her toolbelt.

What a steal. This kid is the truth and such a big time addition to this program. A heady ball player who can score it from all 3 levels, facilitate the rock, and compete on the defensive end. Doesn’t dodge the smoke, her game thrives in competitive moments. Have witnessed her game multiple times and this kid is super tough. No matter the platform, she is going to go at you and then some. Coming to this program, they got a gem. A kid who is a gym rat and someone who will continue to get better. A sure D1 talent, this kid is still growing and her game will eclipse new heights along the way. Top kid in her class that will be the leading catalyst for this Yellow Jacket squad.

If you follow closely, she is no suprise. She’s a 5’7 PG that can do a big of everything. Already a prolific scorer at 19 points a game, but also a head PG that knows how to get her teammates involved. Great at changing levels and speeds to get into the paint. Doesn’t have overwhelming athleticism, but her feel and instincts still allow her to get to her spots. Developing a pull-up jumper off the dribble that is going to be tough. Already a deadly stand still shooter when left open. She’ll be known as of the best PGs in the state next year.
