Redd is a dominate post player! Physical on both sides of the ball. Amaya will battle you for the best position and most of the time, she is going to win that battle! Rebounds and runs the floor exceptionally well! Shows great footwork and uses her body to create space. Most forwards you don’t call “electric” but Amaya is electric and can guard numerous positions! Good hands, good handles, and finishes at the rim great! Amaya is going to be difficult to guard for the a lot of teams this year. If you don’t have her on your radar, you definitely should!

Cawood is definitely the team leader on her Midway squad! Most sophomores don’t take on this role on a Varsity level but Kyleigh can! Penetrates gaps extremely well and makes the correct reads to her teammates. I love how Kyleigh stays poised and under control at all times. Makes everyone around her better! Larry Brown said it best, “The point guard is there to serve others; to keep them involved and organized.” Cawood does exactly this and more! As soon as you think Kyleigh is going to pass, she will go score! The future is extremely bright for Kyleigh!
Charlise Scarlett
Charlise Scarlett
The first thing I tweeted was, “Shooter’s shoot” because that is exactly what you are going to see from Charlise! Every time this kid puts up a shot, it looks like it is going in. Shoots the 3 ball really well! Scarlett doesn’t take bad shots and doesn’t force what isn’t there. Charlise is definitely capable of putting the ball on the floor and going to get her team a bucket too. You are going to see this one consistently knocking down big shots for her William Blount team!

Here is a play by play of the future for Kyle Young Kyle Young 5’6″ | PG TKA | 2026 State TN and her TKA squad. Walden drives and defense has to collapse, leaving a wide open Kyle Young Kyle Young 5’6″ | PG TKA | 2026 State TN & she drains the 3! Next possession, the ball goes inside to Branam & of course she draws the double team so she kicks it out to a wide open Kyle Young Kyle Young 5’6″ | PG TKA | 2026 State TN and the sniper drills another 3! I can honestly see this happening a lot! Young is a good defender! Kyle has a great understanding of what spacing means on the offensive side of the ball! This one is fun to watch. Never rushes anything and never tries to do too much! She truly lets the game come to her!
Annie Priest Annie Priest 5'7" | SG Farragut | 2025 State TN

Priest has the entire list locked down on what it takes to be an ELITE point guard! A true floor general with amazing court vision! Good handles and creates offense for herself and everyone on the court with her! Averaged over 3 assists per game last season and I won’t be surprised if that stat doubles this year! Extremely high IQ kid! Annie stays aggressive on defense and one of the better on ball defenders that you will find. Changes speed great and controls the tempo extremely well. If you need a point guard at the next level, look no further!
Blakelyn Clevenger
Blakelyn Clevenger
Blakelyn has a nice skill set with a scoop layup that is hard to defend! People put out lists all of the time on what it takes to be a great player. Clevenger already possesses a lot of those characteristics. Goes after every rebound, runs the floor exceptionally well, doesn’t gamble on offense or defense, plays under control, completely unselfish and sometimes too unselfish! This sophomore is one for everyone to keep their eyes on because she is only going to improve every aspect of her game!
Lauren Martin
Lauren Martin
Lauren is definitely an important piece to her Karns team! I would consider her the “glue kid” on the team! Definitely the heart and hustle kid that all coaches would love to have on their squad! Dives for loose balls, plays good defense, and simply does whatever is needed for her team! You won’t see her taking bad shots or not giving all of the extra effort! One of my favorite quotes by MJ, “If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” You won’t see this one giving up even when her team is down!
