Continue ReadingAlyssa Hankerson Alyssa Hankerson 5’6″ | SG Charlotte Country Day (1 of 1 Prep) | 2025 State NC let it be known Saturday that she is a force to be reckoned with. Her strength as a shooter is what sets her apart as she can score in droves. Her quick release allows her to get shots up in a hurry and defenders must get a hand in her face. However, even that may not be enough as she can shoot it right over the arms of defenders. She understands floor spacing and knows how to spot up in transition. If the defense attempts to crowd her, she has plenty of speed to attack the lane. Defensively, she will stay low and is very good at picking the pockets of her opponents, then leading the fast break in transition. Alyssa is well on her way to becoming a household basketball name in the state of North Carolina.

What stands out most about Jai’lun’s game is the speed at which she can play the game. She is a very quick guard who can push the tempo in transition and will get down the floor in a hurry. It is very hard for defenders to stay in front of her as she is simply in constant movement. Defensively, she is very pesky as she is able to stay low and use her speed to jump passing lanes. She does a good job hustling on the floor and she is the player that coaches will always be able to find minutes for.
Taylor had yet another dynamic performance at the Super Scrimmage. The 4 star recruit certainly played like one as she is a nightmare to defend. She has incredible basketball speed and she gets to wherever she wants to go on the floor. She is able to control the pace of the game and can play the half court game or full court. She seemingly never gets tired and will always get a good look at the basket. The Memphis commit is sure to do well at the next level as she is already playing the game at a High Major pace.
You have to love the way the 2025 guard fits in with this Lake Norman team. The Lady Wildcats have a plethora of offensive firepower on its roster and you must have players that are willing to help facilitate the scorers for the benefit of the team as a whole. This is vital. Adason does a great job setting up her teammates, making the necessary adjustments to get the ball where it needs to go. Very quick and decisive with the ball in her hands. Coaches can trust Adason to come off the bench or be in the starting lineup as she will know how to adjust. She is sure to play a big role for Coach Graham this season as the team looks to make another run back to the NCHSAA 4A state title game.
Highlights
There is something very intriguing about watching Jamaria play the PG position. She is a powerful guard who can use her body to get to the rim and she is sneaky quick. She is a well above-average ball handler and she can really control the pace of the game. You can see her eyes analyzing what is going on around her and she can fill up the stat sheet. Jamaria will certainly benefit from playing with a NC GBB program that has a number of playmakers around her to help take a lot of the offensive burden off her shoulders.
