You just have to love the way this scrappy PG continues to play the game. You can see her continued development which is a true testament to the work she’s putting in and her Coach putting her in position to succeed. Defensively, she can and will be everywhere. Very quick and will just be all around bothersome. Offensively, she will never be a liability and she hit a nice mid range open shot in the flow of the offense. She will always find minutes because she is always going to help do what it takes to win. She is certainly a player that is going to play a crucial role down the stretch as the team hopes to get back to the 4A state title game.

You have to love the way the 2025 guard fits in with this Lake Norman team. The Lady Wildcats have a plethora of offensive firepower on its roster and you must have players that are willing to help facilitate the scorers for the benefit of the team as a whole. This is vital.  Adason does a great job setting up her teammates, making the necessary adjustments to get the ball where it needs to go. Very quick and decisive with the ball in her hands.  Coaches can trust Adason to come off the bench or be in the starting lineup as she will know how to adjust. She is sure to play a big role for Coach Graham this season as the team looks to make another run back to the NCHSAA 4A  state title game.

Adason is sure to be a contributor for the defending 4A West Champion Lake Norman Lady Wildcats this season. She is a very unselfish player and will always look to give up the ball if it means her teammate has an opportunity for a better shot.  Despite playing on a guard-heavy Team 3, Addison looked very comfortable in her role, wether she played on or off the ball. I really enjoyed watching her get aggressive and attack the lane as she was able to get inside for some buckets in the paint.  She’s also a very good defender (a Lake Norman trademark) who knows where she is supposed to be as she was able to disrupt her opponents passing lanes on several occasions. We are really looking forward to seeing more of her at Lake Norman this season.

The theme for Buoniconti and the 4A Wildcats this season is simple – unfinished business. Lake Norman remembers vividly last season where they were one win shy of a perfect season only to fall to Panther Creek in the state championship game. Buoniconti understands how to play effective defense and how to take care of the ball. She understands how to affect the flow of a game and keeps defenses honest as they are unsure as to if she will finish at the rim or pass to an open teammate. During the spring and summer months, she wears the uniform of Carolina Express Black.

Adason Buoniconti Adason Buoniconti 5'7" | PG Lake Norman | 2025 State NC controls the tempo for her group handling the ball and playing tight defense.  She can attack the gaps finding an open teammate or finish at the rim herself.  She had a nice steal at the end of a close game gaining possession and letting her offense get set for some more points.

Adason Buoniconti Adason Buoniconti 5'7" | PG Lake Norman | 2025 State NC  has some nice handles that she uses drubbing the ball in between her legs to get away from her opponent.  Size didn’t matter with her as she got inside to grab rebounds, too, and she found ways to push the ball up the court making sure her team scored in transition.  She has a nice three point shot even making it on a fast break.
