Week 2 Standouts

Week two has shown the State who some of the special 2027 players are and has alo revealed a lot of other special players. In this article we look at some of standouts in the state in seek 2 of the season.   [player_tooltip player_id='346854' first='Jolena' last='Gardner'] is one of the top juniors in the State of Florida and posting double-doubles is nothing new. Gardner posted a 11 point and 11 rebound game. Gardner can play multiple positions on the floor and offensively she is as good on the inside as on the outside. Gardner is strong on the inside, but she can also get on the perimeter and make positive plays, including shooting the three. Defensively, Gardner is aveaging 2.3 blocks per game.   [player_tooltip player_id='815364' first='Mimi' last='Ross'] / 2027/ Deland High School. Ross had an awesome introduction to high school ball, scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 steals. Ross is a special player who works hard and plays hard. She is just scratching the surface and will be a solid and fun player to watch this upcoming season.   [player_tooltip player_id='514544' first='Narissa' last='Blocton'] was impressive this week and showed a lot of versaqtility to her game. The young Sophomore showed a lot of versatility to her game. Blocton can take it to the rim, and can connect at fhe midrange area ands also behind the arc. Blocton also showed she could handle the ball. Defensively, she harsssed the point guards from Ponte Vedra and did get a lot of getting steals.   [player_tooltip player_id='804264' first='Ya'Zuri' last='Hollie'] was one of the most impressive young players I saw over the summer and the Freshman is balling out as expected. Hollie has height, quickness, and athleticism. Hollie knocked down 20 points and had 4 rebounds , and 3 steals on the defensive end. Hollie has knocked down 6 threes in 4 games.   [player_tooltip player_id='514607' first='Teaghan' last='Moses'] had a great week scoring 22, 22, and 19 in her last 3 games and balled out. Moses was a standout during the summer and thaty was an indication of things to come. Moses can score on all levels of the court and can let it fly from behind the arc.   [player_tooltip player_id='221599' first='Caelyn' last='Carter'] was a standout at reps on reps showcase and she has made an impression since then. Carter has put in a 13 point game already in her high school career. She is a nice young player who can score in transition and can also shoot from the perimeter. Carter can also shoot the floater and get to the rim.   Ayesha Broxey / 2026 PG / Columbia. Broxey has averaged 13.5 points per game over the first 4 games. The Junior Broxey is also averaging over 4 assists per game.
