Anni Ament Anni Ament 5’10” | SF Beachside | 2026 State FL made a clutch three and steal down the stretch and some nice passes in the interior. Several long threes down the stretch and a lot of assists to the 5 down low. Annie appeared to get better and better as the game got closer and closer down the stretch.
Madilyn Ray Madilyn Ray 6’2″ | C Beachside | 2026 State FL had Tocoi stressed from the moment the game started, but wasn’t converting a lot of point blank shots. In the second half, shots started falling for the Sophomore big and she was the difference in the highly competitive contest. Ray has a plethora of offensive moves. She can back the fender down. She has great footwork in the paint and can maneuver iand get off close shots. Ray can shoot the short jumper and also shoot the long range three pointer. Ray is a high IQ player who can play off the ball or have the offense run through her and have her make the reads.
Sophia Iskander Sophia Iskander 5’7″ | SG Beachside | 2025 State FL was very impressed at her ability game on Friday night. She was one of uthe most aggressive players on the roster and does not mind mixing it up on either side of the court. She made a lot of plays during the game, and was extremely aggressive. Attitude is just one of her attributes. Iskander can shoot the rock from the three point line and from anywhere on the floor. She also loves getting to the rim. Defensively, Iskander is very agressive and has no problem diving or going hard for the ball.
Morgan Cremen Morgan Cremen 5’8″ | PG Beachside | 2026 State FL did a very good job of facilitating and running the offense for the first part of the game. She has very good handles, she is very athletic, and has a very high basketball IQ. She does a good job of letting the game come to her. In the second half of the game, Cremen turned it up a notch and knocked down a long corner three and scored in the paint. She also threw some dimes to her “big” and had some nice set up passes for her wing players. Defensively, she is quick and does a good job of creating havoc for the opposing guards. Last year she led St Johns in steals, and after seeing her agressive and savvy defense, that is no surprise.
Highlights
Kendall Kane Kendall Kane 6’0″ | SF Beachside | 2025 State FL is one of the junior veterans on the squad who can light it up from the perimeter. Kane had several threes in the contest and got to the line several times. Kane can also get to the rim.
Annabelle Walton Annabelle Walton 5’8″ | SG Beachside | 2025 FL came off the bench and one look at that smooth left handed jumper is all it took to convince me. She connected on one nice baseline jumper and almost on a few others. Even her misses were beautiful. She played played her role very well- handling the ball and shooting from the perimeter.
Brianna Green Brianna Green 5’6″ | SG Beachside | 2024 State FL is the lone senior on the team and brings a calming effect when on the court. She can shoot the three , can get to the rim, and makes smart plays with the ball.
“Ari” Walker was the engine that made Beachside go. She looked like a track star and basketball star all in one. Walker made play after play in the transition game. She had some coast to coast drives and also had some attacks to the basket that created open looks for her teammates. On offense, Walker also got in the paint a few times for the floater and short jumper. She played with the same energy and effort on defensive end and was very disruptive throughout the game.
