Continue ReadingThere is nothing like “Trey Day” after the Thanksgiving holiday because one thing I can count on is seeing some talented players I probably haven’t seen or seen enough of and one thing I love to catch is NEW FACES so there are plenty mixed in I’ll be focusing on dropping this week as well as others I already knew about yet hadn’t seen in a minute, I also love “on the court progression”. Here is a mix of 2027 players, I already dropped Kinkaid stars Victoria Walton Victoria Walton 5'5" | PG Kinkaid | 2027 TX and Sydney Marshall Sydney Marshall 5'10" | SF Kinkaid | 2027 State TX as well as Cy Springs’ Jemini Mitchell Jemini Mitchell 6'2" | CG Cy Springs | 2027 State TX from The Opening earlier last month so here you go
Lizzie Hamilton
Lizzie Hamilton
Hamilton passes the eye test because her strength, athleticism and powerful college ready frame immediately grabbed my attention yet the more I watched, her upside became intriguing. She’s mobile and did a good job scoring around the basket, as well was going after the ball off the rim yet her interior defense was nice, so was her stepping outside the paint and guarding her man
Sa’Nyjiah Walker
Sa’Nyjiah Walker
Walker is an athletic guard that uses her athleticism well on both so her going full speed and under control immediately stood out and had drop the SWB acronym, speed with ball yet another acronym was also dropped, OTB and that’s “on the ball” defense. She does a good job of not only creating her shot to score off the dribble yet that same creativity helps her elevate on her jumper which she drops while being defended
Lauren Hull Lauren Hull 5'10" | SG Kinkaid | 2027 State TX
Lauren Hull Lauren Hull 5'10" | SG Kinkaid | 2027 State TX
Hull will be in the mix for the Top 100, no doubt there and although she missed the WATCHLIST, she’ll be added on the next update. Watching her rebound and go coast to coast to score or dish numerous times was nice yet her explosiveness in the set coupled with her acrobatic finishes was extremely nice. Her court vision in transition needs to be mentioned, along with her pull-up jumper in the set as well as her stop and pop jumper going full speed, both from mid to long-range JUST DID IT for me. She also has UPS and scored around the basket
Kamdyn Flora Kamdyn Flora 5'8" | SG Kinkaid | 2027 State TX
Kamdyn Flora Kamdyn Flora 5'8" | SG Kinkaid | 2027 State TX
Flora reminds me of going to events and knowing the “cotton candy” was going to be great yet her game has been sweet for years as I watched her on the court progression take her from good, to very good. She too will be added on the next UPDATE and her first step has become a major problem for defenders because she can shoot the ball so well from outside, with a hand in her face, that she keeps the defender off balance. Her slight HEZ in the open court, as well as her crossover are nice, she also sees the floor
Alexandra Gordon
Alexandra Gordon
Gordon continues to FLASH her potential on the court in front of me. She stands above “the magic number” and her “college ready frame” will create plenty of next level buzz, on that alone. She rebounds on both ends, she also does a good job defending inside the paint yet I see improvement in the “hands and footwork” which helps her score around the basket. Her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect has also got better as well as her finishing after contact
