Some district games have started to unfold, however, out of conference play is still around. With that being said, there have been some pivotal matchups at hand, pitting teams against each other, seeing where they stack up. Christmas pre-and post tournaments are around the corner, but in the meantime, teams are still getting a solid footing.

Here are a few girls who are scorching the nets around the Murfreesboro area. These solid prospects have been the leading catalyst for their clubs, not only filling it up from the field, but playing contributing roles on the boards and the defensive end as well. Check out some kids in the Murfreesboro area who have been tearing it up.

AC Shirley (6'0/So./G/MTCS)- She's been filling it up in a big way for her ball club. Talk about a game changer, when she is on, she's on fire. The girl has been tremendous from the field, scoring 59pts in the past two games. From the arc, getting downhill and finishing in the paint, leading her club in the scoring column has been her contribution this past week. She's tuning up to make a run towards that gold ball. However, look for her to be in contention for post season awards as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='245354' first='Addison' last='Melton'] (6'0/Sr./G/ Central Magnet)- This go-getter is tough. Blessed with great size and speed, her ability to straight hoop makes her game look easy. Multi-level scoring threat has been putting in that work and then some. From the 3, money, from the field, cash, the ball has been finding the bottom of the net on a consistent clip. Lipscomb got a steal in this prospect and look for her to finish her senior season with a bang.

Nora Haney (5'7/Sr./G/ Riverdale)- The senior has been stepping up in a big way for her club. Her ability to lead hasn't just been showing through her communication, but her actions. She's been shooting it from the field tremendously lately and then adding her ability to rebound, has added an extra spark to the Lady Warriors ball club. Solid kid who continues to build confidence every time she steps onto the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='513278' first='Kayte' last='Madison Bjornstad'] (6'1/So./C/ PCA)- Big post presence for the Lady Lions has been stepping up in a huge way. The school hasn't had a presence like her in awhile, and boy are they taking advantage of having the size inside. KM is a bucket in the painted area. Great working block to block, keeping 2nd chance opportunities alive, smooth high post and short corner stroke. She's a beast on the boards, establishing her presence, getting after everything that falls off course. She's growing in confidence and her on the court is making opposing coaches' game plan a little differently. Solid prospect who will continue to grow both in size as well as stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='821670' first='Jade' last='Watson'] (5'6/Fr./G/ Rockvale)- Freshie guard is tearing up the scene in RuCo. This shifty guard is putting everyone on notice and both opposing coaches and college coaches are paying attention. Her ability to attack gaps, dish the rock, finish at the rim, drain it from deep, has the Lady Rockets thinking big thoughts about both this upcoming post season and future stability within the program. You are talking about a game changer, this young lady is it. Her ability to use her quickness on D to get into passing lanes and steal the ball adds extra value to the Lady Rockets attack. Add her scoring prowess and you got one heck of a prospect coming up in Rutherford Co. Great kid who is on an upwards trajectory.

[player_tooltip player_id='245361' first='Kaelyn' last='Flowers'] (5'6/Sr./PG/ Blackman)- Senior year loaded and Kaelyn is ready to rock. The senior guard is a heady PG who can score from the field, but also defend like crazy. Her ability to just get the job done and compete, makes her a nuisance on the floor. She's a multi-level scoring threat who has been leading her squad. Though it is still early in the season, expect Flowers to bust through, blazing a trail for the club to get back to state contention. The Florida Gulf Coast commit is a special talent that is leaving her mark on a solid Blackman Lady Blaze program.

[player_tooltip player_id='625458' first='Ayanna' last='Young'] (5'4/Sr./PG/Siegel)- This Star hooper is going out her senior season with a bang. She is filling it up from the field, leading her club in multiple categories. She's been able to knock it down from the arc, giving her team confidence along the way. I love her ability to defend, getting 2-3 steals a game, which leads to transition buckets. She's a big contributor that just flat out gets after it. Hungry kid who competes her tail off nightly.
