Hardy has the look of a Miss Basketball contender. It takes so much defensive energy and effort to slow her and there’s too much talent around her for it to be very effective anyways. Hardy can score at multiple levels and can steer the offense away from the rim when she defends. She came just shy of a 20 and 10 game against a Lansing Catholic team that boasts a ton of talent themselves.

Richards was outstanding in her team’s loss to Detroit Renaissance. She showed that she can have the offense run through her and can match athleticism and speed with her own athleticism and quickness. Richards was dynamic on offense, showing that she could score in a half court set as well as in a fast paced open floor game. She finished with a game high 25 points.

Wayne Memorial has a backcourt that’s going to be problem for the next few years. Bryant came just a handful of steals (which actually sounds very attainable for her) away from a quadruple-double.

Hey, have we mentioned Wayne Memorial’s backcourt? Well, here’s another one. Morgan Smith Morgan Smith SG Wayne Memorial | 2026 State MI was excellent as well against Kalamazoo Central. She was a solid 2 way played some tough nose-to-nose defense. Smith recognized good scoring opportunities and took advantage of them. She looks like she has some really nice lead guard skills as well with her ball handling and passing.
Dillard absolutely battled in the loss. That’s one of the great things about her as a basketball player – the competitive fire. That was very evident at the Icebreaker Challenge. She led her team in scoring and almost hit double figures in rebounds as well.
