Starting since her freshman season, Ries Miadich Ries Miadich 5’8″ | CG Tualatin | 2026 State OR is already a captain as a sophomore and has stepped up as an experienced leader for the Timberwolves, with her role only growing since Arosemena’s injury. In two of her biggest performances in the month of January, Miadich put up 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 assist against Liberty followed by 16 points — including two made 3’s — 3 steals, and 1 rebound. She is just the full package when it comes to guards: she runs Tualatin’s offense beautifully, has a great shot from deep, is a crafty and heads up defender, and constantly plays with relentless hustle at a high pace. With her team still in a good position to vie for a Three Rivers League Title, expect big things out of Miadich for the rest of the season.
Another one of the most versatile guards in the class of 2026, Amani Lubrano Amani Lubrano 5’4″ | PG Jesuit | 2026 State OR is already one of the best players on one of the top teams in the Metro League. An excellent on-ball defender with great hands and length, Lubrano is a force on that end of the floor. She is an incredibly consistent 3-point shooter, knocking down two, three, or four 3’s in just about every single game for the Crusaders. She knocked down four 3’s against a very good Grants Pass team to finish with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal, and in the league matchup with Mountainside, she did it all finishing with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block. Lubrano has all of the tools, and she will only continue to get better as she gets more and more experience under her belt.
Mylaena Norton Mylaena Norton 5’6″ | PG Redmond | 2026 State OR , the point guard for Redmond, has led her squad to the top of their league and the #4 spot in the state, and has them looking ready for a deep postseason run. In a monster week of league play, Norton nailed four 3’s en route to 21 points and 8 steals in the win over Summit, and followed that up by knocking down a whopping six shots from beyond the arc against Caldera, finishing with 24 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. The numbers clearly show what an excellent shooter Norton is with a beautiful and confident stroke. She is also a smart defender, and has demonstrated incredible maturity and leadership in her role as the Panther’s floor general. We will be seeing lots of Norton in the coming weeks (and years).
Reese Jordan Reese Jordan 5’9″ | PG West Linn | 2026 State OR is a standout sophomore on a West Linn team that is loaded with young talent. Her 5’10 length combined with elite athleticism make her a prime prospect for schools at the next level. Both of these allow her to make amazing plays on the defensive end — tipping passes, stretching out for steals, blocking key shots — in addition to the offensive end where she is an excellent finisher around the rim. Jordan also pushes in transition well with her speed, and is one of the top guard rebounders around. In two recent league matchups, Jordan finished with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals against St. Mary’s Academy and followed that up with an impressive 18-point, 7-rebound, 6-steal, and 1-assist game performance at Lakeridge.
