Sabrina Kiryakoza
Sabrina Kiryakoza
Sabrina Kiryakoza led the way in the Regina win against Divine Child. Shooters shoot and that’s just what she did. Kiryakoza paced her team scoring 20 of their 49 points. If she continues to play at this level, she’ll draw more and more eyes on her game.
Morrice defeated Atherton and Aubrey Rogers Aubrey Rogers 5’8″ | CG Morrice | 2024 State MI was a human highlight reel. She had a rare points and STEALS double-double with 32 and 12. Rogers isn’t just a 2 way player, she’s an explosive 2 way player and difference maker.
If you score the way McGregor does than you need a nickname. Mia “More Buckets” McGregor? Not my best work, but I’m going with it. “More Buckets” had, well, more buckets in a win over Oscoda. She finished with an eye-popping 43 points.
Gabby Foster is a good old fashioned baller. If I was a coach at any level I’d have some serious interest in her being my future lead guard. She handles with explosive quickness that turns into baskets and assists. She scored 14 points in last nights win. Foster is quick on the defensive end as well, to the tune of 5 steals in the win.
Highlights
Presley Rubio
Presley Rubio
Roseville picked up a nice win against Lakeshore, 50-22. Rubio was excellent in the victory. She had a game high 21 points, but was influential in many facets of the game. Rubio also grabbed 5 boards and picked up 3 steals.
Davis was doing Davis things in an impressive West Bloomfield win against Groves. She was once again an almost impossible matchup. Her basketball IQ, physicality and athleticism is just different than your typical high school game. Davis finished with 22 points and was solid defensively as well.
I like seeing freshman on this list, so here’s another one. Crighton continued her tremendous season in an OLSM win against Cabrini. She’s simply one of the best shooters in the freshman class. She finished last night with 18 points.
Highlights
The words “Miss Basketball final table” and “Braxcynn Baker” have come out of my mouth and I stand by it. She once again showed why last night in a Red Arrows win. She dropped 35 points in the game and seems to be eclipsing the 30 point mark pretty often. Baker is simply one of the top scorers in the state.
Highlights
Gabriel Richard picked up an impressive 59-36 win against a VERY talented Marian squad. Miller led the charges last night, finishing the game with 22 points. She once again showed that she is one of the most poised and consistent scorers, and all around players, in the state.
