Watkins was GREAT today with her play around the paint area for the Lady Volunteers. Tamia finished with 28 points and 15 rebounds in the win over Military Magnet. Tamia has really looked to expand her game more to the perimeter. She knocked down a few elbow jumpers here today while handling the rock up the floor in transition.
Watkins a left-handed forward was crashing the glass all day long on both ends of the court. Tamia is a good inside-out threat possibility down the road.
Walker-Lee and her teammates suffered a loss to North Augusta HS. Kadence plays the game extremely hard down in the paint. She looks to run down every loose ball even if that means running into the bleachers, bench or diving on the floor.
Kadence understands her game comes inside the paint and running down rebounds on both ends of the court. She plays with a blue-collar attitude and an endless MOTOR that never stops working.
Isaac was able to showcase some pretty bounce passes here today to her teammates while in transition. Chi’nya finished at the rim on a few occasions today with both hands. She clearly wants the ball in her hands down the stretch in games.
Issac finished with 20 points while knocking down a few three-pointers in a loss to Westwood HS. Chi’nya logs a lot of minutes for the Diamond Hornets and never left the floor today.
Highlights
Wason a point guard plays the game with a fearless mindset. Dream really excels in getting the ball into the paint and making plays. She generally plays her best basketball while in attack mode and slashing to the cup.
Dream plays active on both ends of the court and really prides herself in playing defense. She will tend to pick up several steals and deflections on a given night with her active hands. Dream finished with 17 points in a loss to Andrew Jackson HS.
Can the Lady Eagles win a 4th straight Class 1A State Championship come this March?
Champion came out on fire here today knocking 4 three-pointers in the Lady Bulldogs win over Hilton Head Christian. Morgan is always ready to receive the ball in the pocket and makes herself available for a shot. She really looked to go to work from the corners here today.
Morgan uses good shot selection and never looks to force her shot. Champion most of the time here usually plays under the radar for the Lady Bulldogs. When she needs to step up look for her to take on the challenge.
