MLK Classic at GRC: Game 3 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>I was in attendance for the 2024 MLK Jr Classic last weekend hosted by George Rogers Clark High School located in Winchester, KY. This was a 4 game event that showcased some of the states top talent. She took over this game and made an impact in many different ways. Nichelson had the hot hand from three-point land making 4 out of 5 of her shots from deep. She also came down with a ton of rebounds and did a good job putting her head down and attacking the basket. Mcknight displayed exceptional footwork on the low block where she scored at will even with defenders draped all over her. She has a high IQ and does not need the ball in her hands all the time for her to be effective. Carl played with energy on both ends and seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. She ran the floor well using her speed and anticipation to get a head of everybody for fast break layups and she was very active on the boards as well.
