<p>There were some nice performances over the MLK weekend from prospects in various classes. In this article we look at more standouts from around the State of Florida. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='374464' first='Ansley' last='Hicks'] (cover on right)played well over the weekend show that she's one of the most athletic players on the first coast and in the 2024 class. Hicks played elite defense and made it difficult for the opponent all game long. Hicks was also a playmaker on offense. She got downhill in the paint, and she had some very crafty finishes and assists. In transition, Hicks was able to score consistently. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='349325' first='Kennedy' last='Waymer'] (cover on left) was also special over the MLK weekend. The left handed guard stresses defenses with her quickness and ability to get to the rim and score and draw fouls. Waymer also got teammates involved, throwing dimes on the floor. Defensively, Waymer plays good on ball defense and is very good at picking up steals and extra possessions. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='214172' first='Beckham' last='Hockley'] scored 24 in a matchup versus Cardinal Mooney over the MLK weekend. Hockley averages 21 points per game and is one of the most consistent scorers in the State of Florida. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248551' first='Alanna' last='Tatum'] was a force over the MLK weekend and scored over 20 against Orange Park. Tatum scores in transition and is a killer in the midrange area. Tatum can also knock down the three. Tatum also played well against Paxon and seeing her against [player_tooltip player_id='374464' first='Ansley' last='Hicks'] was a treat. Hicks and Tatum are two of the top athletes in the entire State of Florida. There were no easy baskets for either player and that was worth the price of admission. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248553' first='Kendall' last='Kane'] poured in 15 and was the game high scorer versus Creekside. Kane only knocked down 1 three pointer and got 15 the workman's way. She had some nice moves to the basket including a few reverse layups. Kane has been impressive showing that she is a versatile player who can adjust her game if the three is not falling. Kane also picked up 4 steals playing the passing lanes. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='404442' first='Sofiah' last='Miller'] was a scoring machine over the MLK weekend, knocking down 29 points, including 4 three pointers. Miller also had a double-double, securing 10 rebounds. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248697' first='Paisley' last='Binswanger'] scored 18 points with 3 three pointers. The Sophomore is one of the top Sophomores in the State of Florida and has a lot of versatility and toughness to her game. Binswanger can get to the rim and also fill it up on the perimeter. The young's guard also had 7 rebounds and 6 assists. </p>
