With the regular season having concluded, and the postseason getting underway this week, I wanted to circle back and make note of players who excelled during the 2023-2024 season in several different statistical categories. These statistics have been pulled from MaxPreps, so if you feel like someone has been omitted, it’s likely because their school/coach didn’t update their statistics online, or they don’t have enough games entered yet to qualify. Below is a look at the top five assist producers from this season, regardless of school classification or graduation year.

Clinton Central | 2026

, 2026, Clinton Central H.S.
– Carly came onto the scene a season ago as a Freshman and was dynamite for Clinton Central. In fact, she was exactly what they needed…someone capable of taking care of the ball, running offense, and finding open teammates on-time/on-target. In her second season, she has improved her assist-to-turnover ratio nicely. She still manages to find opportunities to score, plus she’s a tough-nosed defender, but all in all, she is someone you want captaining your ship.

Hamilton Southeastern | 2026

, 2026, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
– “K.K.” was a tremendous backup a season ago to Indiana All-Star Olivia Brown. However, she has stepped in seamlessly as a Sophomore and helped the Royals to a 19-3 regular season record against an incredibly tough schedule. She is long, fluid, and smooth, she sees the floor extremely well, and she competes on every possession. She can also shoot/score, and she’s an elite on-ball defender, but her creativity and vision are also on the high end for guards her age.
7.1 apg – Addison Bowsman, 2025, Twin Lakes H.S.
– Addison has already made a career of being the perfect setup player for Twin Lakes, and she still has another season left to go. She is extremely heady, she plays with her head up and scans the floor, and she does a nice job of balancing her need to shoot/score for her team to win with her ability and willingness to give it up to open teammates. She is not very big, but she’s long, fluid, and smooth, and she plays extremely physical for her frame…she’s even a strong rebounder.

, 2025, Danville Community H.S.
– Not as many people are familiar with Emma on a statewide level, because she has opted out of playing grassroots basketball the last couple of seasons. However, Danville opponents know all too well of her abilities. She is a quick/fast and feisty little water bug. She can get through gaps, change directions in traffic, and find teammates through the smallest of windows. This season, she has done a nice job of improving her scoring while maintaining her unselfish manor.

Center Grove | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, Center Grove H.S.
– I have been a big fan of Lilly’s since I saw her between 8th and 9th grade, and she is now in command of one of the top teams in the state. She is a nice athlete, she has wiry strength, solid height, good speed and quickness, and she plays with a unique sense for the game. She sees the floor extremely well, finds open teammates through the smallest of windows, but she can also shoot it consistently from outside, and she’s willing to be a gritty defender and mix it up.
