This season has produced some really good games and has showcased the skills of a lot of talented young players. The season has also introduced the basketball community to some new faces. In this article we look at all of the above. These players stood out as the season wounds down with District Championship tournaments on the horizon.

[player_tooltip player_id='243900' first='Kali' last='Barrett'] scored her 1000th point in her junior season. This comes as no surprise for one of the top prospects in the State of Florida. Barrett is a bonafide scorer who puts the ball in the basket in every way imaginable. She can shoot the three (she has knocked 75 this season). She can get to the rim and is crafty and savvy and knows how to get to the freethrow line. Barrett is a high IQ player who makes her teammates better. She and team are poised for an exciting post season.

[player_tooltip player_id='647752' first='Sydney' last='Kenney'] revved it up this week and produced a 12 point outburst along with some defensive steals. Kenney has a good touch from the outside and loves to attack the basket. She can also shoot the midrange and from behind the arc. Kenney is the consummate team player who does anything to help her team win, including scoring. She plays solid defense and also fills the lanes well in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='847427' first='Auneria' last='Doyle'] was really impressive and the firstly thing that stands out is her ability to shoot with her left and right inside the painted area (not just layups but actual shots). Doyle has quickness and can attack the rim and shoot the midrange shot. Defensively, she is an aggressive on-ball defender who can steal the ball even if she has dive on the floor to secure the ball. Doyle can also handle the ball and does a good job of handling with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='741323' first='Nylah' last='Brooks'] scored in double digit 12 times this year as a Freshman and being that consistent is not an easy task. Brooks also knocked down 24 threes. She can score from all areas on the floor. The young baller is a special player who puts the work in, and she's is poised to play in next week's District tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='755319' first='Audrey' last='Rollins'] averaged over 10 points in her last 6 games and is poised for a special District tournament next week. Rollins is a three point specialist who has connected on 48 threes. Rollins can also get to the rim and plays good defense on the ball. She is not afraid to taken the big shot and will make a defense pay if given the daylight to shoot.

[player_tooltip player_id='248345' first='Clare' last='Coyle'] reached 1000 points and that's a great accomplishment for one of the best defensive forwards and rebounders in the State. Coyle has been consistently in double digits in rebounds and points and this achievement speaks volumes of Coyle's consistency. Coyle and company have made it to Lakeland for the past three years and have come so close to winning it all. She has been lights out and ready for the final dance.
