Blumberg has been nothing short of fabulous this season. If she told me that she deserved to be even higher on the list, I wouldn’t tell her that she’s wrong. She’s a versatile guard that can be equally effective playing both on and off the ball. You want evidence that Blumberg is a rising star? Well, this isn’t her first time in a stock risers article following a prospect rankings update. Blumberg was in this same feature last July.
Williams has fit like a glove in the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard culture. And that culture right now is full of a handful of next level prospects. Williams is a team first forward that will box out and battle for boards. She’s a tough matchup with her ability to use her power near the rim and score in traffic and through contact. Williams can then step out and attack with a tough 2 dribble straight line drive.
Gustafson and her Saugatuck team are both having a season for the ages. It’s about time that she gets the credit that she has long deserved in regards to her game and skill. Gustafson is an elite rebounder and scorer. She has a tremendous combination of power and touch. This allows her to gain position under the rim and then flip it in for a high percentage bucket.
Highlights
Westbay has been fun to watch. It’s nice to see how she’s developed her game and found ways to get in success positions on the floor. I haven’t seen many players all season that can work off the high the way that she can. Westbay catches passes at the free throw line with strong hands and then makes smart decisions with the ball. She can bury a mid range jumper, use a powerful dribble drive or pass the ball off to an open teammate.

Sorrelle has the look of a player that will continue to rise up the rankings. She’s a very valuable 2 way player that makes it tough for a coach to take her off the floor. Sorrelle brings a lot of defensive intensity and can guard the entire length of the floor. She has a well rounded offensive game with her ability to score at all 3 levels. I really like Sorrelle’s ability to pull up off the bounce and bury a shot.
