What hasn’t been said about the growth of this kid? Bowers is a true athlete who has a skillset that allows her to control a game and play at a very high level. She is a factor for a team contending for another state title, and her game is at another level. She plays with so much confidence and is able to score in a variety of ways. This human bucket is such complete player and can take over a game at any time. Her outside shot is automatic and she can fit things up from behind the arc. Good smooth release and a player who is just getting better. Very smart player with a high level IQ and a knack for making the big play. Katie moves into the top 10.
I personally saw her in action a couple of weeks ago as her team came visiting my hometown. Carroll came away with an easy victory and Kiera put on a show. She scored at ease anytime she wanted. Good body control and able to maneuver her way to the rim and finish. Also knocked down numerous perimeter shots including a deadly three. She moves up to #11 in the latest rankings.
She is such a natural leader as a sophomore. Great handles and plays the game with such ease, she sees the court well with great vision and distributes the ball very well. Physical kid who can handle that style of play. Has good quickness and a good first step to the rim. Good on-ball defender with active hands. She makes a three-spot jump to #14.
