Continue ReadingT.K. Hastings averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in a extremely tough scheduling week for Lebanon. For the week, she also shot over 50% from the floor.
Against Cookeville on Friday night, she was tremendous: 17 points (7-15 from the field), 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals. Lebanon had a chance to win on a final possession, and she barely front rimmed the miss.
She does it on both ends as she draws the assignment of the opposing teams best guard. Lightning quick, plays hard on every possesion, and her skill level–already strong–is simply getting better and better.

The senior PG has been really good for Father Ryan all season long. In a three win week, she averaged 16 points, 6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds while also playing high-level perimeter D. Halle Burford

Buford is simply a tremendous basketball player…and I rarely see her mentioned as she kinda gets hidden away in an incredibly tough district. In a much needed three win week, Buford averaged 24 points a game and 6 rebounds. You put her in almost any other district in the state and I think perhaps the narrative changes a bit. She’s as skilled a scorer as there is in the state..
Melton is another player that seemingly has gotten better as the season has progressed. In three games last week, the Central Magnet star averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Those numbers show her impact on winning…she’s not simply a scorer but also an underrated playmaking facilitator and passer. She’s an extremely diverse ball player, and I think her skill set is perfectly suited for the college game.

Roby has been so darn good at just the right times for Cookeville. The ’26 had a huge night on Saturday in an incredibly tight win versus another Top 10 team (Lebanon) as she finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Cookeville is deep with scorers….and it’s just hard to take away everything! And Cookeville seemingly holds everyone under 50….which gives them a chance to be special.
