A crucial component to Legend’s success all season, Borcherding plays a vital role facilitating for shotmakers along the perimeter. Her skill and size around the rim forces opponents to throw aggressive help defense at the forward, further elevating perimeter players with open looks. Of course, should late help arrie, Borcherding has been efficiently contributing buckets.

Thornton’s assertive mindset on either end of the floor continues to make Horizon a very difficult matchup. Given her excellent point of attack defense, her presence alone has slowed down opponents in the halfcourt. She is a willing driver off the catch, contributing 11 of her 12 free throw attempts this past week versus Ralston Valley.

Belibi is a mobile forward who remains a dependable three point shooter and versatile defender. She is especially active getting to mid-range jumpers and drives to the rim, not solely reliant on her three point jumper. Active flying off of screens, Belibi remains one of the more difficult opponents to defend when hitting shots.

Chambers will need to take on a larger role in round 3, although she has shown the ability to rise up to the challenge. An especially strong forward with skill handling the ball in traffic, they will play a pivotal role in Cherry Creek’s advancement. This team remains one of the better defensive groups, effectively switching onto a variety of opponents while holding their own at the point of attack.
17 PPG, 2 RPG, 2 APG
An efficient shotmaker along the perimeter or while attacking the rim, VanSickle remains a dependable scoring option for a lights out group of shotmakers. Knocking down 7 threes in her two playoff games at a 40% clip, this Valor group remains troublesome for opposing perimeter defenders.
14.5 PPG, 7 RPG, 4 APG, 3 SPG
Harding has steadily risen within Rock Canyon’s hierarchy, getting off-balance shot attempts and contributing those shots at a high degree. This group remains a sneaky group, although with consistent production from Harding, this group has a chance to get very far in these playoffs.
15.5 PPG, 9 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2 SPG
Through her initial season, Jones has risen to the multitude of challenges, showcasing a high level of skill playmaking with the ball. She brings in two-way production, excellent defending 1-3 while rising up for scoring opportunities when presented with an opening.
12.5 PPG, 4 RPG, 3.5 APG
While there are a handful of names within this Cherokee Trail group who were right there, Gibbs wins out for her averages on efficient production. Her height advantage and quick instincts have allowed the guard to take advantage of weak closeouts or smaller matchups. Not to mention she is an incredibly difficult matchup to score on.
