Kelsey Lorenzi
Kelsey Lorenzi
The junior wing has been terrific this season for Brentwood as a 2 way kid that gets it done on both ends. In Friday night’s big win for Brentwood, Lorenzi had 7 points. She perhaps gives Brentwood another scorer to go with Ella Ryan Ella Ryan 5’10” | PG Brentwood | 2025 State TN , Paige Morris Paige Morris 5’6″ | SG Brentwood | 2026 State TN , and Olivia Castagna Olivia Castagna 5’9″ | SG Brentwood | 2025 State TN
Kailee Waldo

Stone has been super competitive over the last four years, and Waldo had been a large part of that. The senior post just received her first offer from Brescia Women’s Basketball. Congrats kid! She has played a really nice 1-2 game with Addison Howard.
Congrats Lauren! Hassell is one of the best ’27s in country, but I’m going to celebrate her hustle stats. She just surpassed 1,000 rebound for her career (already). That’s insane! Is 3,000 in play for her?!?
And….worth noting….she’s pulled these 1,000 rebounds while playing side by side with 6’3 Marley Spiers Marley Spiers 6’3″ | C Clarksville Christian | 2027 TN who averages 10+ rebounds a game by herself.
We are huge Zoe Gibson Zoe Gibson 5’11” | PG York Institute | 2027 TN fans….because she just does her job (by the way….that’s part of what happens when your kid is part of a great program that has parental and player buy-in……and no community in the state is “bought in” more so than those headed to York. Gibson is on a very talented roster, and has filled in the gaps seamlessly.
And…that’s a skill! I’ve coached kids that can only play in one role. Zoe Gibson Zoe Gibson 5’11” | PG York Institute | 2027 TN is the type of kid that is already learning diversity and how to play off the ball in numerous situations. Her ability to earn such an important role on this York team is a testament to both her talent and IQ.
Highlights
In Oakland’s Friday night victory over Green Hill, Alonna Poole Alonna Poole 5’11” | SF Oakland | 2024 State TN netted her 1,000th point of her career (while also pacing all scorers with 17 on the night). The Oakland standout is the Power 5 kid that doesn’t get a ton of pub. Kid is a ultra competitive gamer that brings all the tools to the table.
Kalise Bass Kalise Bass 5'3" | PG Oakland | 2024 State TN
Kalise Bass Kalise Bass 5'3" | PG Oakland | 2024 State TN
The ’24 standout gives Oakland the floor spacer they need to make a deep post season run. Poole and Amaya Nash Amaya Nash 5’6″ | SG Oakland | 2026 State TN need room to slash and gaps to hit–and Bass’ floor spacing provides that. In their win over Green Hill, she finished with 10 points and 2 made 3s.
