Last night, I watched a huge upset as Oakland beat Cookeville: 66-60

Ok…now I understand.  Last night I watched Alonna Poole Alonna Poole Alonna Poole 5'11" | SF Oakland | 2024 State TN but Oakland on her back and carry them to victory.  She scored 30 versus one of the stingiest defenses in the state.  PG Amaya Nash Amaya Nash 5'6" | SG Rockvale | 2026 State TN handled the Cookeville pressure, hit gaps hard, and made all the right plays (14 points, 6 assists).

Now we get a Oakland versus Blackman rematch for the 3rd time this year.  Should be a classic!

In Oakland’s Friday night victory over Green Hill, Alonna Poole Alonna Poole Alonna Poole 5'11" | SF Oakland | 2024 State TN netted her 1,000th point of her career (while also pacing all scorers with 17 on the night).  The Oakland standout is the Power 5 kid that doesn’t get a ton of pub.  Kid is a ultra competitive gamer that brings all the tools to the table.

Poole is a 5’11 wing from Oakland that’s signed with James Madison.  When you watch Poole play, she just looks like a D1 kid.  Lots of length and athleticism; dangerous out in the open floor in transition or attacking a closeout in the half court.  Has really developed into a high level scorer; and it progressing in her playmaking abilities as well.  Looking forward to watching Poole in her last season.
