Brooklyn Heineman Brooklyn Heineman 5’7″ | PG South Sioux City | 2024 State NE of South Sioux City is an athlete that put on her for team, every chance that she got this past few years on the Varsity Floor. As of most recent, she has been her team’s unquestionable leader, producing on both sides of the court. During her team’s last few months she really did it all. She scored at a steady and consistent rate, she defended like her life depended on it, and she showed on numerous occasions that she is willing to do whatever it takes to help her team win. In this final 2024 Update, Heineman is a prospect to know. She is going to go to college at Buenva Vista, becoming a Beaver for her foreseeable future. She is someone that could definitely help out this program moving forward from the 2, 3 or 4 position. She just needs to be set up for opportunities and I’m sure she will knock it out of the park.

Jacelyn Jorgensen is a high level rebounder and high energy player whenever she laces up her basketball kicks. I would describe Jorgensen’s play-style as aggressive but in-control. She is always the first on the floor or diving into the stands for a loose ball, whenever given the opportunity. This past season she displayed that she is always going to be a top rebounder, no matter who she is matched up against. Sometimes you have players that just understand Rebounding and when you pair that with any athleticism, those players dominate and that’s what we have here. Within a program that has handful of collegiate level prospects, Jorgensen may be the best solely based on her motor alone, not even mentioning her skill set.
I didn’t have a chance to see Khadijah Phillips Khadijah Phillips 5’7″ | CG Lincoln Northeast | 2024 NE compete live this previous high school season but from all of the video that I have seen, I can confidently say that Phillips has some game on the hardwood. Phillips is a 5’7 Guard that moves between the 1 and the 2 depending on what is being ask of her. She competes with a smart head on her shoulders, during any given situation. She is a relentless attack on the offensive end, while being complete defensively. Over the past three to four seasons, she has been someone that has shown up on numerous occasions, no matter who she is lacing up with. I’m not sure where she is looking at going following graduation but she can play and so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone snagged her late in this process.

There are a lot of things that I could say about Britney Klein but the best way to describe her game is smooth and balanced. Every time that she puts a shot up, she has perfect picture shot form with a balanced stance. She has the ability to knock down jumpers when she has time to set up or she can take her defender off of the dribble. This past season Klein did everything she could to try and help her team. She moved around positions, she scored from all three levels, she assisted others, and she boarded hard. From a coaching perspective, you can’t ask for much more from your starting Guard. Defensively, I would venture to say that she was just as productive. She was always willing to pick up her opponent in the full court, displaying her endurance throughout a ball game. This Crawford high school team is going to be good for a long time because of the foundation that players like Klein created. If they stay true to their beliefs, they are going to be a program we mention constantly moving forward but we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out come Winter time.
