Yesterday, I released the All-Deck Kansas Class of 2024 team and today I would like to share with you a quick look at 10 athletes from the Class of 2025 that I would enjoy creating a team with.

To put together this squad, I used old-fashioned John Madden rules, which means only players I saw play in person were eligible for consideration. I also keyed in on the skills of each player and did not rely on stats, and the Prep Girls Hoops player rankings were not a factor. There will be plenty of time in the coming months to digest the stats of hundreds of Kansas athletes and many opportunities for senior scout Robert Kelly to update future rankings.

As an ex-coach, these are 10 athletes I would like to mold into a team of my own and how I would intend to utilize each of their skill sets.

Stay tuned to PGH Kansas for the next two days for the publication of my All-Deck Teams for the classes of 2026 and 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='349798' first='Anna' last='Becker'], 5'11”, G/F, Seaman

Becker gets my vote for Player of The Year from Kansas for the class of 2025. She is the best all-around player I saw this season. She can score, pass, rebound, play defense, convert free throws. She can do it all. The best thing I can say about her is she is super unselfish but knows that she can take a game over in the clutch. That's a fine line to walk

[player_tooltip player_id='539007' first='Makenzie' last='Farmer'], 5'9”, SF, De Soto

My 2024 team was built around guards, this team is going to have the frontcourt serving as the backbone. Included in my impressive frontcourt is the De Soto grinder. She will grab rebounds and play solid frontcourt defense. On this team she will be a secondary scorer, but she can take over games if needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='349458' first='Aliyah' last='Green'], 6'0”, PF, Andover

Green was the most dominant post player I scouted this prep season. She loves to post-up and likes to drive. She will fight for rebounds and can shoot a midrange jump shot. She is a physical specimen who could play linebacker or tight end on a collegiate flag football roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='398379' first='Amelia' last='Ramsey'], 6'0”, C, Hayden

Ramsey played for two schools in 2023-2024, but finished her season at Hayden. She has polished skills, and in this frontcourt, she could score a bunch or focus on cleaning the glass. The idea of her and Green in the same front court would give opposing coaches night terrors.

[player_tooltip player_id='349460' first='Skylar' last='Seals'], 5'6”, SG, Maize South

With a frontcourt like this one, I need a guard who takes care of the ball and can drain 3-point baskets. Seals fits that profile to a tee. I had not seen her play until the Class 5A State tournament in Emporia, but she is one of the most entertaining players to watch play.

[player_tooltip player_id='349454' first='Brittan' last='Zeka'], 5'10”, CG, Wellington

Wellington's Zeka is going to be my “sixth-man” and replace Seals when she needs a blow, or as the point guard when I want to go small. Zeka and Seals in the same lineup could score points in Wichita while shooting in Newton. Zeka can flat our bring from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='872368' first='Jaida' last='Stallbaumer'], 5'8”, G, Seaman

Stallbaumer is a sneaky guard who can also play small forward. She can push the pace of the game when she is in the lineup and would be my top shutdown defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='398385' first='Allie' last='Brown'], 5'4”, GG, Fort Scott

Brown is my other tea-cup-sized guard who can sling the ball all over the court. She plays great defense and would pair up well with any of the other guards on this team. Her skills are best utilized as pace-pushing transition point guard. She can score, but she is not quite as smooth as a jump shooter as the four other guards in this lineup. If she's in the lineup with Stallbaumer, guards facing us will have a hard time scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='822748' first='Kaydence' last='Torrez'], 6'1”, C, Shawnee Heights

Torrez would be the first forward off the bench. She might be the best passer of the six post players I have on this roster. She can score and is a dual-sport prospect as she can make a volleyball cry. She could play her unassuming unselfish brand of basketball on this high-scoring roster.

Kylee Comstock, 5'11”, SF, Fort Scott

Comstock is my “lunch pail” toting front-court player who will do anything to help the team win When I watched her play for the first time the player that entered my mind was former Los Angeles Laker Kurt Rambis who was surrounded by the likes of Magic Johnson, James Worthy, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. However, Comstock does not need the goofy old-fashioned goggles that Kurt wore to find her rebounds and hit her shot.

Honorable Mention: [player_tooltip player_id='822629' first='Taylor' last='Bosley'], Jackson Heights; [player_tooltip player_id='349463' first='Carsen' last='Carpenter'], Derby, Brodie Christensen, Andover; [player_tooltip player_id='335953' first='SaMiyah' last='Ellis'], Wichita Heights; [player_tooltip player_id='766538' first='Ava' last='Esser'], Seaman; [player_tooltip player_id='688271' first='Katie' last='Evans'], Andover; Kaliya Fulton, Hayden; [player_tooltip player_id='398382' first='Heaven' last='Gilbert'], Wichita Heights; Norma Jean Greco, Hayden; Kaylee Hampton, Clearwater; Kate Hink, Washburn Rural; [player_tooltip player_id='456530' first='Amaree' last='Henderson'], Newton; [player_tooltip player_id='398375' first='Kennadi' last='Jackson'], Wichita Heights; Maddison Lies, Andale; [player_tooltip player_id='335930' first='Grace' last='McCallop'], Bishop Miege; Bela Major, Pleasant Ridge; [player_tooltip player_id='398380' first='Brylee' last='Meier'], Hayden; [player_tooltip player_id='349450' first='Valerie' last='Norwood'], Wellington; Taya Orth, Andale; [player_tooltip player_id='875332' first='Isabelle' last='Peabody'], Manhattan; [player_tooltip player_id='616736' first='Kallie' last='Rickords'], Derby; Bella Reid, Hayden; [player_tooltip player_id='872362' first='Megan' last='Simon'], Bishop Carroll; Lilly Unruh, Blue Valley Southwest; [player_tooltip player_id='349459' first='Amelya' last='Vance'], Andover; [player_tooltip player_id='349462' first='Zarianna' last='Walker'], Wichita Heights.
