[player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew'], 6'1", SF, Derby - Askew's first year in Kansas, following a move from Belleview High School (NE), has been a big one. She not only was named to the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Div I team but also to the Sports In Kansas and KSHSAA 6A second team. Her athleticism, wingspan, hops, quickness and speed provide a great foundation to apply her skills. Askew is a strong rebounder, goes coast-to-coast with handles and alters and blocks shots. She joined an experienced cast that returned to the 6A state tournament. She has quickly become one of the top players in the class as well as the state. Her play has propelled her into the top 10 at #5.

[player_tooltip player_id='317352' first='Mary' last='Grant'], 5'8", SG, Bishop Miege - The Stag 4A state championship machine kept rolling along this past season and Grant played a major roll in the drive to the title. The two-time Eastern Kansas League first team selection also was tabbed by KSHSAA and Sports in Kansas to their 4A first team. She scores the ball well and is regarded as a very good perimeter defender but where she really hurt teams this past season was with her perimeter shooting. Establishing herself as one of the top shooting guards in the state Grant jumped into the top 10 at #6.

[player_tooltip player_id='827728' first='Lili' last='Szabo'], 5'5", SG, Life Prep Academy - The Fire guard grabbed attention by hanging 18 points, including knocking down shots from beyond the arc, on Pratt Community College early in December. Prep Girls Hoops scout Bret Swanson caught her at The League finals and came away impressed with her transition passing and three point shooting. Szabo jumped 65 spots to #10.

[player_tooltip player_id='827712' first='Ava' last='Grosdidier'], 5'10", PF, Blue Valley Northwest - Grosdidier was a strong, physical presence for the Huskies this season. She worked well in the screen game, boxed well rebounding, and showed ball skills out of her back-to-basket game. Prep Girls Hoops scout Early Austin wrote in October that she talked well on defense. An important intangible that enables a defense to work well together. Grosdidier made a small, single spot move to #25.
