When Sadie transferred back to Woodgrove after a year at PVI, it put them in a position where they could compete with anyone in the state. Woodgrove had one of the best seasons ever, and [player_tooltip player_id='260613' first='Sadie' last='Shores'] played a massive part in it. Knocking down threes herself and finding teammates helped Woodgrove put in a VHSL record 259 threes. Sadie helped unlock this Woodgrove offense and showed herself as a true PG.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["602747"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='602747' first='Ella' last='Mahaffey'] is one of the best shot creators and tough shot makers in NOVA. Her handle, overall skill, and athletisicm make her someone you need to gameplan for to stop. If teams didn't double Ella she usually did what she wanted as a scorer. Ella was district player of the year, first team all region and finished second team all state.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["332117"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Most people knew how good [player_tooltip player_id='332117' first='Angelina' last='Nice'] could be coming into this year, but she surprised some people with just how good she was. Angelina had some monster performances this year. She won region player of the year and district player of the year and was the best player on a Woodgrove team that was one of the best teams in the state, regardless of class. She's also a McDonalds all American nominee.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["238886"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='238886' first='Hope' last='Drake']'s offensive versatility and consistency were huge for a great Briar Woods team all year. She is one of the best shooters in the state and has great size to go with it. Hope led Briar in scoring with 17.7 PPG and rebounding with 7.7. She is a great passer and was the biggest reason Briar lost only one regular season game. She was also named second team all-state.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["666673"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"There were a couple of options I was considering at Center, but ultimately, I went with [player_tooltip player_id='666673' first='Noelle' last='Cabiness']. Noelle's defense in the paint and improved offensive ability impressed me this year. Briar was very good on defense, and a lot of that was because of Noelle. She didn't have eye-popping numbers, but if you watched, you could see how impactful she was. She was first team all-region and averaged 1.5 BPG.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660648ff205c0"} /-->
