There were a couple of options I was considering at Center, but ultimately, I went with Noelle Cabiness Noelle Cabiness 6'0" | PF Briar Woods | 2024 State VA . Noelle’s defense in the paint and improved offensive ability impressed me this year. Briar was very good on defense, and a lot of that was because of Noelle. She didn’t have eye-popping numbers, but if you watched, you could see how impactful she was. She was first team all-region and averaged 1.5 BPG.

Noelle has been one of the more improved players this season for me. She has improved as a shooter and looks more confident. She has been a force on that side of the ball, and that was on display against Lightridge. Noelle had a massive game with 13 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 blocks. This was two-way dominance from Noelle.

Briar Woods took on Riverside on Thursday, and Senior Forward Noelle Cabiness Noelle Cabiness 6'0" | PF Briar Woods | 2024 State VA had an impressive game. She did a great job on the offensive glass and showed off her improvements as a shooter. She knocked down 2 threes, one of them being a step back. She was dominant on the defensive end, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 blocks in a 15-point Briar Woods win. Noelle also had a 12 rebound game in their first game of the week in a lopsided victory over Independence. Briar Woods had a 3-0 week, and Noelle played a huge part.

At my Center/forward spot, I have Noelle Cabiness Noelle Cabiness 6'0" | PF Briar Woods | 2024 State VA . Noelle has all the tools to be an absolute problem on both ends. On defense, she is already good with her instincts, length, and energy. On offense, she’s becoming a real threat from 3-point range and does an excellent job on the offensive glass. She is a great athlete and provides this Briar team with a lot. Noelle has gotten more attention over the past year, and I think she has a fantastic season as a senior.

Very high IQ player the player that has a great feel on the defensive end. Uses her length very well on both ends of the floor. Good athlete runs the transition break very well. Still a little raw on the offensive end but still is a capable scorer in the paint and has shown she not afraid to shoot the three as well!

A really good defender that tracks the ball well to get block shot! Good size and length and knows how to use her body on defense and attacking the glass! Noelle has a lot of untapped ability, plays the power forward position but she has a D1 wing frame. Is very raw on the offensive end but shows flashes of what she can do on the court. Overall a late bloomer with a good feel and skillset on the floor.
