Jazlyn Hill
Jazlyn Hill
Hill keeps climbing up and watching her attack the basket off the dribble with either hand was nice, especially since she could also finish with both. Her first step is powerful, her body control is solid and she finishes after contact but let me flip it over to her “on the ball” defense as she causes havoc plus she plays the passing lane and sees the floor

Winn was another of the Lady Thunder players that gave me even more than when I caught them a few weeks ago. Her first step is nice, so is her body control after contact yet at times, her finishes are acrobatic. She also showed the pull-up jumper as well as the stop and pop in transition and her defense, baseline to baseline as well as in the set was effective
Polk is heady and is just a joy to watch on the court because she understands how to run a team, she’s unselfish and has good court vision yet she also can score off the dribble as well as drop the midrange with a hand in her face. She also reads the floor and plays the passing lane plus her defense is solid
Highlights
Allison McAda
Allison McAda
McAda grabbed my attention via Livestream during the playoffs yet she kept it while I was on her court. I gotta drop the #THROWBACK hashtag on her for how she operates in the paint, either understanding positioning for rebounding on both ends of the floor, or showing the “hands and footwork” around the basket. Throw in the fact that she plays as if she’s at “the magic number” and voila
Jamie Walker
Jamie Walker
Walker ran past everyone at last season’s Heart Of Texas and that acronym fits her because she stays hot on both ends of the court. She’s an athletic guard who can defend “on the ball” baseline to baseline. Her first step was good, it’s even better and so is her court vision yet her body control on her finishes as well as her defense stood out as well
Franklin is so smooth and under control. wait she’s always been that way which is I dropped the #D1LOck on her in the 7th grade. The thing about her is she can play multiple guard positions effectively and although she’s a score, mid to long-range as well as off the dribble, she showed me how well of a facilitator she was by setting her teammates up for baskets. Yeah, she dropped it from outside as well and applied heat defensively but she also showed she could get hers in the flow
