Naomi first makes big plays on the defensive side of the ball, setting the tone for the game right from the beginning. She causes havoc for opposing guards and creates many turnovers which lead to many easy buckets in transition. Senato finds her open teammates well as the point guard of the team, excelling in the pick and roll game.
Vida fought back from injuries to play a little bit during her senior season. Even though she joined the team late in the season, she still played like her old self right away. She is a rebounding machine and can play a variety of positions on the offensive side of the ball, excelling when she works out of the high post.
Highlights
Ava is a great competitor on the court, being able to handle the ball or play off ball just as efficiently. Her deep shot is one of the top in the state as she can easily drain 4-5 threes in one game. It doesn’t matter if it is off the dribble or off a catch, she is able to get her shot off quickly. Her drive with her lefty hand stands out as she can keep control of the ball just as well as her right.
Emmy leads this Sehome team in a big way, having such an elite deep shot. She isn’t afraid to let it fly, which would lead to games where she is making 5 plus threes on any given night. She plays electric defense, doing her best to create deflections and turnovers for her team. She can play at the next level, in my eyes so coaches should be all over this guard.
