I didn’t get a chance to catch Ally Ihler Ally Ihler 6'1" | SG Salado | 2025 State TX (Salado) on Texas Lonestar 17U 3SSB or India Stigall (Buda Hays) on Team Moriah Jefferson 17U 3SSB yet nevertheless, both are LEGITIMATE D1 prospects, no “cloak and dagger” nor “sleight of hand nonsense” from me as I only give facts and the why so here are some others

Hafer just took me back to yesteryear with her variety of ways to put the ball in the basket. She’s listed as a shooting guard, I see that yet she is a couple of inches shy of “the magic number” but plays as if she is. Her “hands and footwork” around the basket got buckets, so did her scoring on putbacks, yes she rebounded on both ends
Carroll tickled me a couple of years ago when she said “you wrote about me when I was in the 4th grade” so I went back to search bar and smiled because once again, I was on the money. Her explosiveness has always been a problem, as well as her being able to score off the dribble, as well as mid to long-range yet her on the ball defense, playing the passing lane and showing timing to block shots all stood out
Johnson has the college ready frame right now and the game is there as well because she is one of the most powerful guards, that can play, in the state. She can post up smaller players and score around the basket, well she does that against taller ones also, yet her mid to long-range is smooth and consistent. She scores off the dribble, after contact and does a good job rebounding and defending
McDaniel has SIMply added to her game each year since I started watching her and not only is she a legitimate scoring threat in the paint, again “hands and footwork”, she’s doing it with either hand. She rebounds, on both ends, understands how to get the break going with the outlet, runs the floor, on both ends, and is a solid interior defender
Taylor grabbed my attention a few weeks ago, her college ready frame and standing 6’3 played a part in that yet her play on the court sealed it. She handled the ball after rebounding, which does on both ends, and saw the floor in transition and after finding out she played some 1 in HS, I got it. She’s a force to be reckoned with inside, her strength helps enable her to finish with players literally hanging on her however her upside is scary because she’s new to the club ball scene and her being coachable coupled with desire will have her a “must see” this season

Galvan had me thinking what I didn’t like about her game and all I could come up with was not seeing her sooner. She does a good job creating her shot under pressure as well as knocking it down, under pressure. Her coolness in the clutch is only part of it as to go with the mid to long-range, her deceptive first step helps her score off the dribble, she also dishes while attacking yet her court vision is solid in the set as well as in transition
