Hailey Bailey Hailey Bailey 5’8″ | SF North Greene | 2024 State TN had a tremendous season, along side her twin tower ’25 counterpart Hannah Miller Hannah Miller 6’1″ | PF North Greene | 2025 TN , in leading North Greene to the state tournament. Bailey turned herself into not just a nightly double-double, but her basketball IQ was off the charts as NG often ran many actions through Bailey as a not simply a scoring threat–but also a talented passer (especially as a post).
Thomas had an incredible season for Pearl-Cohn. She really turned herself into the complete package of a PG….She’s always been a shift downhill attacker, but this year she really added new components to her game that made her a full fledge Miss Basketball candidate. Every night she was thinking about what PGs need to think about–how do I get my teammates involved? Does the speed of the game match the speed we want to play? She controlled the game all season long for PC.

Celeste Reed Celeste Reed 5’11” | C White Co. | 2024 State TN was named 3A Miss Basketball, but way before that announcement, she had skyrocketed up our ranking well before that. She’s a grinder that never stopped pouring work into her game over the last 4 years, and is proof positive that the secret to being great is simply that there is no great secret: just work.
She was the best player on (what I thought) was the best 3A regular season team in the state. She was their “go-to” interior scorer in the biggest of games, and her coaches and teammates trusted her without hesitation.

I thought Williams was the key Bartlett’s championship run. We knew what Carrington Jones Carrington Jones 5’8″ | CG Bartlett | 2024 State TN would bring (and she did), but it wasn’t until Morgan Williams Morgan Williams 5’6″ | PG Bartlett | 2024 State TN started knocking down threes consistently in the tournament did it really loosen things up for the Bartlett offense to run smoothly. Morgan Williams Morgan Williams 5’6″ | PG Bartlett | 2024 State TN was a stone cold SHOOTER in the tourney…and she rose big time in our rankings.
Golly bum I enjoyed watching this kid play. She was so smart: seemingly always making the correct pass, backdoor cut, screen way, etc. Her offensive IQ was off the charts, and it was really obvious that Bella Mullins Bella Mullins 5’7″ | SG Upperman | 2024 State TN had turned herself into an extension of her head coach to those that watched Upperman win the state tournament.

If you watched CAK’s deep run through the postseason, you noticed Proffitt. She was her team’s leader for a group that went to three consecutive final fours. She won District MVP. When the light came on bright in March, she didn’t shy away from the biggest moments. She wanted the basketball…she played fearless yet smart. Incredibly well coached kid with a lot great basketball still ahead of her.
