The April Live Period was almost a week ago. To get out of Live Period coverage, we'll talk about a couple of 24s that may still be looking for a home and close the day with some intriguing 2025s still on the board. I'm unsure if any of these 2024s are looking for a home at the next level, but if they were, they'd provide value for a program.

Burgher was never a kid who'd wow anyone because of anything that ended up in the box score. The value she brought was on the defensive end of the floor in Brookfield East's zone. Burgher took the role of a kid who was 6-2 and was playing P5 volleyball at West Virginia this past year. Burgher's a 5-10 wing, and she excelled in the middle of that zone. I thought what the senior did allowed the Spartans to continue to sit in that zone and suffocate teams. However, I believe there may be more to what she does off the dribble than we saw in her senior season. Burgher played next to two excellent guards, [player_tooltip player_id='266987' first='Shae' last='Kelley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='497476' first='Maya' last='Kovacic']. Due to that, she played away from the ball all game but showed some flashes when she attacked recovering defenses. If she wants to play at the next level, she can help a team on the defensive end of the floor at the bare minimum.

[player_tooltip player_id='266997' first='Annamaria' last='Luna']

The Wauwatosa native has always been a kid I enjoyed watching play. She moves like a soccer kid, she's light on her feet, changes directions quickly, and is at her best when she can run. Luna has been a streaky shooter, but I've seen her hit big shots when her team has needed offense in AAU, and there is a competitive edge in her that will allow her to compete on the defensive end of the floor. She's a kid people would've talked about more had she been at a school competing for a run-to-the-state tournament. She's a scrappy kid, and if a small school got her on their roster, she'd probably find her way into minutes quicker than you'd expect.

[player_tooltip player_id='618803' first='Katie' last='Blazei']

There's a chance that Blazei is playing volleyball at the next level, but talents would translate on the basketball court. She's a 6-1 kid who can move well for her size, steps out for some perimeter jumpers, and defends the rim well. I've liked what she's brought for a while and believe she'd be a productive small-school kid.

[player_tooltip player_id='329583' first='Taylor' last='Rogers']

Rogers was a multi-sport kid at Winneconne and thrived in them all. However, the numbers may not represent it, but I think she could be a college-level shooter. Rogers had low volume her senior season and didn't make a ton of three-pointers, but her shot looks solid. Had she played at another school more suited to what she does best, she could've been a valuable piece on a successful team. I believe there is something she brings to a program that would be useful.
